well the new hovercraft unlike BH-7 is capable of firing both torpedo and Anti ship cruise missile , its equipped with sonar and have reduced radar cross section .

the idea is the beach is already defenseless so you just have to capture it and do not let enemy to defend it.

If you are going to do an amphibious invasion of a beach head, you can expect 99% of the time, the presence of some sort of beach defense. For Iran to do an operation like that, the country would have already been fully mobilized to protect the coasts.

The beach needs to be approached with amphibious armored vehicles, perhaps additional artillery support in the form of 23mm guns from corvettes or just don't bother at all because you'll get shredded. Hovercraft and infantry can approach from behind.

I would say 1% is guarded with troops and 10% with short range defenses.

bro it's not like that navy chief commander plans an amphibious attack and executes it the next day, it takes several days even month to plan an invasion. before that it takes several observation operations to determine the defensive measures of enemy...after that even before the operation starts navy would send some scouts to make sure every thing is like how it planned.
