Yeah, it would be ideal for storming a hideout or if there was a trench in danger of being overrun. Americuckwans used shotguns really effectively in trenches back in WWI.
don't work that well if enemy wore body armor . its more used by police and law enforcement when attacking a building
No body armour provides complete protection against frag rounds at such close range, especially not the neck, hands and face.
body armors protect the neck and and helmet protect the head , the problem is face . and well that's not that much of the problem at 15-20m . and when you go to war you target the widest possible target aka abdomen and torso not limbs or head
Just aim centre mass but a bit higher - the spread will shred their faces to mincemeat.
for that you need discipline , you can\t expect that from conscript . we were happy if the conscripts didn't ran out of the 90 bullets assigned to them in the first minutes of the clashes . and learned how to manage their ammunition . or even just don't spray the bullets when they could see the targets and actually try to fire at the general direction of the enemy

Are you sure it wasn’t just a homegrown product the Iranian built themselves, seems quick for mass production like of a reverse engineered weapon like that has only been on the books in Ukraine for several month.
