For a two way ticket it is 800 km, so it definitely did not come from Usrael or was intended to land not far from Iran if it was send from Usrael, either way a base outside of Usrael was needed for its operation.

While i understand excitement among Iranians on downing a drone, probably from Israel but doubtful due to short range of Hermes 450, i am hardpressed to understand military significance of this.

Hermes 450 is a pretty primitive drone meant for use and throw purposes. It's downing is not going to cause any degradation in operators capability. It would sent similar drone again.

2 miniute of footage from this drone would be worth more than cost of this drone.
