Actually many rich middle eastern countries have purchased Chinese weapons since 90s and early 2000 including long range missiles, howitzer artillery, and drones. Of course European countries will not and neither will China really sell anything advanced for fear of USA and anyway they will feel pressure not to purchase from USA. Turkey has purchased some missiles and HQ-9 trial was done during their time looking for air defense system. As they want S-400 system the USA banned them from F-35. This is example of consequence of buying not from USA and some European arms makers. So not totally true that Chinese exports are only to poor countries. Thailand is also not poor and operate Gripen but they also bought Chinese submarines, tanks, ships, and missiles. Iran bought fast attack ship and missiles too. In Syria's conflict during early days of 2015s, lots of Chinese anti tank missile and short range surface to air man operated missiles. The different groups fighting always posted videos online.

Lots of examples actually and considering most countries buy weapons only from their ally group, it's not surprising that Chinese weapons do not sell as much as American ones today. Definitely sell more than Russian ones now. Until maybe around 2010, Russian sales were greater and definitely during 80s to 90s Russian sells were huge when you consider India and China purchase so much already and then other countries also buy Soviet Migs and so on. These days they don't sell much except to India mostly and some small purchases here and there like S-400 sale to many places and Su-35 to China and Su-30 to India. Maybe they are going to sell many more tanks to random customers.

Post #106 dated may 19th, (page 8) posted by you shows a few tug boats pulling INS Vikrant. Normally in narrow confine water, the tug boats do the pulling and pushing their client ship.

The momentum of a large ship makes it very dangerous to sail under its own power in small area, especially when it had to travel only a few hundred metres and then making a sharp U turn to berth. The risk of collision against others ships at berthed and jetty is very high.
