Your debunking of hindutva's false and contrived narrative is excellent. Hindutva followers genuinely believe their entire identity is thousands of years old. They would cry into their dhotis if they realised the reality about Hindustan.
Its very easy to understand them if we open our minds a little. When Mohammad Bin Qasim , Amir Khusrau and Ibn Batuta came to India they studied Sanskrit and Hindi
and the Sanatan Dharma to better understand whom they were dealing with. There is no issue of
shirk in studying a culture.
There was a very smart generation of people who were well versed in the culture and religion of the majority population of the then united India. Amongst the foremost was Allama Iqbal who in a futile bid for a dialogue wrote his famous poem
"Naya Shivalaya " Few in Pakistan today understand either the title or content of the poem .
Knowing the adversary is a big advantage.
Here Indians have a tremendous advantage over Pakistanis, There is still a sufficiently substantial Muslim population in India for them to be aware of most Islamic customs and traditions. This they use to deadly advantage on social media against Pakistanis.
For example: On social media for the trolls refer to Pakistanis as,
"P()¥£Ys" knowing that it is extremely offensive. The trolls can be easily countered in good humor when they abuse thus by reminding them of a particular incarnation of a prominent deity. Knowing this helps but a careful study of the sacred scriptures must be done. The scriptures themselves, shorn of the mythology are deeply philosophical and have considerable substance.
So my advice too Pakistanis is to learn Hindi first and then study the Sanatana Dharma.
Hindi is extremely easy to learn because the script is uniquely phonetic that is there is only one spelling for a particular word sound.
For example the English spelling is confusing: Whether and weather sound identical but are spelled differently.
In this era scholars like Dr. Zakir Naik and progressives such as Rahi Masoom Raza have studied Hindi, Sanskrit and the sacred texts thoroughly.
As social media activists we don't need to aspire to be like them but to understand the enemy on the social media it is necessary that we know enough to be able to counter the trolls.
