Featured Indian Army's JCO killed in retaliatory firing of Pakistan Army in Baba Khori area of Nawshera sector of Rajouri

Yes, but what is striking is if you look at the marching songs of the Indian Armed Forces. Unless they have concocted some new Sanskrit ones the old songs had liberal doses of Urdu words and infact even liberal use of the word Shaheed. You can search for them on the internet.
or
There are many others.
Notice the words.
The Sanskrit words don't cut it.
I once sneaked up on an Indin Air Force song on You Tube
and posed as a Hindi zealot criticizing why Urdu words are being used.
Why couldn't they say:
ویر سوئم
" or something like that. Remarkably I got slammed for the suggestion.
They just don't have an equivalent of :
اے مر د مُجاہد جاگ ذرا
Why?
The reasons are complex which can't be discussed on this thread but one reason so far has been the now vanished modestly secular era of India.
Indian Armed Forces marching songs were ( emphasis on were)
secular. So the emphasis was on nationalism.
This is no longer the case.
