Pakistani never wanted war with India, we still do not want war. We are a peaceful country which wants to normalize relations with just resolution of Kashmir issue. It is India which refuses to engage, thinking that it can some day take on Pakistan Militarily to the effect of taking Azad Kashmir away from Pakistan; and it is India which has weaponized water against Pakistan. All the hostility is from India which begets hostility from Pakistan in return. What happened during Operation Parakram ? The Pakistani position at point 5353 was destroyed by Indian artillery fire from surrounding peaks. Anyway, Pakistani armed forces are preoccupied and overstretched fighting TTP, BLA, PTI and other Pakistani civilians. They don't have the resources or willpower to fight the Indian armed forces.
Point 5310 is one Km inside PakistanMarpo La Peak Point 5353 is still with Pakistan. Pakistan dominates the LOC. Pakistani Artillery on peak 5353 can direct accurate artillery fire on to up to 20 km of Indian National Highway 1A, and cripple the Indian defensive positions from Mushkoh to Bhimbet.

The rarely told story of vital Point 5353 India failed to retake from Pakistan in Kargil
Some 19 yrs after the war, ThePrint pieces together events that prevented the Indian Army from capturing a vital height.theprint.in
Every major air force including USAF, Israeli Air Force and PAF have had friendly fire incidents.Just like spider air defense system which shot down your own helicopter in 2019
Who started 1965 and Kargil ?Pakistani never wanted war with India, we still do not want war. We are a peaceful country which wants to normalize relations with just resolution of Kashmir issue. The Maharaja of Kashmir had the right to accede his state to India. That is how Pakistan got Kalat, Bahawalpur, Chitral, etc. That was the just solution to the Kashmir issue.Pakistani never wanted war with India, we still do not want war. Can we move past the history? We have may made mistakes based on our belief that we have rights over Kashmir but if there is noting to hide then why not let Kashmiris decide their own fate through an open plebiscite or allow a UN mandated solution? The Maharaja of Kashmir had the right to accede his state to India. Who sent troops to take Srinagar in 1947 ? Who did Operation Gibraltar in 1965 ? Who did the Kargil operation in 1999 ? Who trained Mujahideen for war in Afghanistan and Kashmir? If all the hostility is from India and Pakistan is a peaceful country, why does Pakistan also have regular gunfights on its borders with Afghanistan?
Why not allow every district in KP and Balochistan to decide their own fate through a referendum? Can we move past the history? Who agreed on these terms ? Is there any legal document. Please educate yourself on the terms of the India Independence Act. The ruler of every princely state was free to decide its fate. Jinnah tried his best to get Hyderabad, Junagadh, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bhopal - which all had Hindu majority. The only difference is that he failed and the Indian leaders succeeded in getting a part of Kashmir after fighting a war to defend it from Pakistani forces.P.S. The instrument of accession was never produced which also because a problem. And as per the agreed terms, areas which were predominantly Muslim would go to Pakistan so the matter is not straight forward.
1. Because legally we are not bound to do that as they were a part of Pakistan upon independence. Why not allow every district in KP and Balochistan to decide their own fate through a referendum?
There were 2 conditions and you are simply referring to 1 of them; the other was that Hindu majority areas would go to Hindustan and Muslim majority areas would go to Pakistan. And by the way, where is the instrument of accession? Why wasn't it produced if the ruler had actually acceded to India? Any response to that?Who agreed on these terms ? Is there any legal document. Kalat was an independent state on 14th of August 1947 and not part of Pakistan.1. Because legally we are not bound to do that as they were a part of Pakistan upon independence.
How do you know until you hold the referendum ? India can also make the same claim.2. Even if we did get a fair referendum, the overwhelming majority would vote to stay with Pakistan.
It seems you are ignorant about history. The religion-based division was for area under direct British rule, not for princely states. The decision about princely states was to be made by rulers. That is how Jinnah accepted the accession of Junagadh where more than 85% of population was Hindu and which was surrounded by India on all sides. He also tried to get other Muslim and even hindu rulers with Hindu populations to accede by offering them more privileges than India was offering. There were 2 conditions and you are simply referring to 1 of them; the other was that Hindu majority areas would go to Hindustan and Muslim majority areas would go to Pakistan.
https://thewire.in/history/public-first-time-jammu-kashmirs-instrument-accession-india/amp/ here is a copy. You seem to be a victim of some conspiracy theory which says it was not signed. I have never heard this but this is simply not true. Mountbatten himself would have ensured it.And by the way, where is the instrument of accession? Why wasn't it produced if the ruler had actually acceded to India? Any response to that?
Isnt that convenient for you, first you claim Pakistan did not want war with India, then when given historical evidence contrary to your statement you ask to move past history. Would you please stick to one point and not shift goal posts as fits your needs? Can we move past the history? You will be an easy target. In peacetime it's valuable, sure. In war time? It'll probably be one of the first locations that gets bombed.
Tell me how??You will be an easy target.
