Indian army eyes soaring Kashmir bridge billed as 'game changer'

The whole utility 99.99% lies during peacetime. In the unlikely event of a war the old longer route still exists . Even in a warlike situation this bridge would be used to build up the frontline until war breaks out .
Then of course this bridge will be well defended

Marpo La Peak Point 5353 is still with Pakistan. Pakistan dominates the LOC. Pakistani Artillery on peak 5353 can direct accurate artillery fire on to up to 20 km of Indian National Highway 1A, and cripple the Indian defensive positions from Mushkoh to Bhimbet.

The rarely told story of vital Point 5353 India failed to retake from Pakistan in Kargil

What happened during Operation Parakram ? The Pakistani position at point 5353 was destroyed by Indian artillery fire from surrounding peaks. Anyway, Pakistani armed forces are preoccupied and overstretched fighting TTP, BLA, PTI and other Pakistani civilians. They don't have the resources or willpower to fight the Indian armed forces.

Nobody is interested in fighting Pakistan or China, the primary purpose of these builds is not to move troops it's to integrate these regions year-round. Let people move in and out quickly, with the local economy thriving to the point that nobody would ever think of joining Pakistan or becoming independent.

Wars have been fought before without any of these new bridges or tunnels, we transported equipment on mules and we know the outcome.

I have news for you and Pakistan. You are already bankrupt.
Don't you worry, we will find a way to serve tea to all our 'guests' in the event a country again pursues activities which it simply cannot afford to indulge in. Even if it means another IMF Program    :)
