India is not different rather the achievements are different. At the current GDP, given restrictions in the infrastructure it has to build such ships, given it is at a starting point towards indigenous products- it way way more advanced that china was at the same GDP threshold as India is... you even with the so called 7 trillion GDP managed to build a casino carrier and called it an A/c with all pomp and state propaganda videos around it. India has been open about where this A/c is in its life cycle.

Its not like that u said u going to biuld AC tomarow and biulding is started.And we r well aware of delys and its resons.I am extc engineer I know how difficult is designing something and emplimenting rit from zero even if u hav best basic knowlege and block digrams, flowcharts..After d real biulding process started in 2009 them our speed is comparble to other nations even england and france also spend 10 years for biulding and trials.
