What's new

India & Iran collaborating to equip Afghan Taliban with drones.

That's what I've been telling the naive and insecure both groups here simce the fall..Even if pakistan finds a friendly Talib in kabul it may not to find a friendly Talib near border area following kabul...the chain of command is broken and many groups are just working autonomously as much as they can..
Problem is that there were many in the military that understood this and pointed this out - they stressed the need to help the Taliban build a stronger union or let the US get a smoother transition in. But, as things happened both in the US and in Pakistan with an over excited, miscalculating and misaligned leadership within institutions they didn’t realize how much crisis the Taliban would face once they gained power and how totally ill equipped they were intellectually and otherwise to run a country.

Now, that they have realized that and see Afghanistan as their primary interest - Pakistani naïveté is slapping it again as it realizes that no one owes their “refuge” and “depth” anything

Kabul: Even as Afghanistan reels under extreme poverty with people dying due to the severe Afghan winter, the Taliban regime is hell-bent on using the limited finances at its command to buy weapons.
According to an ANI report, the Taliban regime of Afghanistan wants to buy attack drones with the funds that the United States (US) sent as humanitarian aid for the Afghan people.
Instead of using the money for subsidizing education or developing Afghanistan, it seems that the Taliban “will use its limited cash” to buy or acquire Blowfish drones from China, 19FortyFive reported.

One tweet and people just go bezerk, seriously.

Mentioned this a couple of times in this forum.

US withdrawal from Afghanistan = net positive for Pakistan.

US next door in Afghanistan, was to the establishment’s liking, but this was creating a severe security headache for the state. In terms of perception of Pakistan’s security forces helping US and the US colluding with India to equip anti Pakistan elements.

Sure the transition could have done in a better way. A severe miscalculation from US and Pakistan’s end. The Taliban do not have an intellectual capacity to govern.

Coming to the current scenario. The days of good Taliban and bad Taliban are coming to an end. The lines between Taliban and TTP are becoming blur. The short term direct threat remains to be TTP and the security forces need to continue taking their heads off.

But over long term, the Pakistan state, should understand that the Taliban are no friends either. They are like their TTP cousins, nothing but scum. If they continue to mend their ways and focus on governance and integrating with the world, well and good. But if they continue their current path, isolating themselves, give refuge to TTP, misgovern then Pakistan over long term, should be ready to engage in war with these people.

There is no India, this is just a hot button to instigate Pakistani by our own side

The U.S left multiple equipment in Afghanistan, the Taliban don't know how to utilize all if not most of it

Iran has for decades sought out western equipment so it could dissect and copy it

It is possible that in exchange for access to some of the systems Iran is helping Taliban operationalize the equipment.

Pakistan is doing the same, but Taliban seem to be hedging it's bets between Iran and Pakistan
you don't know anything do you?

A friendly talib in kabul is purely out of necessity not want, and very rare. It's like expecting to find friendlies in India

Their credibility has still been correct so far mostly

Faujis will have it within a month if it gets deployed on the border. It will be sold by a talib too.

Got something for you

China May Provide the Taliban with Blowfish Drones

I suggest you change the title, don't remove Iran.

It can help you keep your obsession with Iran.

Iran and China providing drone to Taliban to attack Pakistan.
I don't know why you chimp out when anything mentions Iran, calm down lil bro

If it's true we will see in the coming months or so, no need to lose your shit

Iranian IEDs have already caused havoc in Pakistan. Iranian suicide drones will bring a deadly addition to the mix.

Why is everyone surprised?
Taliban will source weapons from wherever it can. It has got weapons from Iran to fight USA and NATO during their occupation, despite Talibans view on Iran or Irans view on them. Taliban have people who are well connected with IRGC. The Taliban governor of Nangarhar is very close to Iranians. This isn’t a surprise as there’s also pro pak Taliban factions, pro Iran factions, anti pak factions, hardline Daesh sympathizing factions etc. Taliban have successfully carried out drone strikes against the previous regime and their foreign supporters using modify easily available drones and drones they got via their connections. Taliban will try to get weapons from anywhere it can even if that means india. That’s just how things work. Taliban will take measures to degrade Pakistans conventionally superiority over this. We don’t even need to be enemies for them to do this. Iran has supplied Taliban with weapons before and Taliban have connections to get weapons from Iran again if they can afford it. Indian funding can be used for this.
This is just how war works. It’s very hard to stop a group ruling their own country from procuring things. Best thing Pakistan can do is get its act together and get serious against our enemies.

It's not India, Actually your brother "China"

It's not India, Actually your brother "China"

China is not my brother and never will be.
Pakistani state can do whatever it wants but that doesn’t make China my brother.

My point is this news shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

A classic Lota reply. Neither here , nor there. As confused as your establishment ruling.

USA in Afghanistan was good for Pakistan. It had some worth and value to USA. Taliban monster you nurtured. It will ( when it becomes stable) create so much headache for you that you will forget about India as your enemy. Your rulers are intellectually challenged. Brawn and looks over Brain and intellect is what you are always proud. Look...where it has taken you. Imran has done what India could never do. He has split your society and damagec your Shield ( army).
