Did wahabis use state instruments like police to do it?. India uses caste in everyway to crush them. It is not rivalry between equal or near equal groups.

I don't think it can. Honestly, it's too embedded in their mentality that some are born superior to others. Such people shouldn't be welcomed into Islam even if they beg. The sense of incredulousness that upper castes feel when a Dalit or any "dalitised" community dares to claim their basic rights says it all really. You see the blatant violent examples here, but believe me, there are clandestine networks, old boys clubs etc in diaspora Asian communities that engage in non-violent acts and conspiracies and microaggressions against all those seen as inferior. I have seen this crap orchestrated in many workplaces by north Indian Brahmins ganging up against: dalits, south indians, Sikhs, Indian Muslims and Indian Christians. Whites don't get targeted anyway because these brahminists dare not bite the hand that feeds them. Pakistanis simply don't stand for such crap and nip it in the bud when it starts to brew.
