Pakistan is China's red line, China won't just sit there and doing nothing.

Otherwise, there is no way to gain the trust from your allies.

China didn't do anything during kargil in fact it was in favor of india.

As i explained before, in the 1950s, our PLA has just defeated the KMT regime, and these veterans had full of energy for another coming war.

But in the 1971, many officers were dying because of the persecution of the cultural revolution, and the morality of the army was on the brink of collapse. Even we already had nukes at that time, but seriously we can't afford for another war.

The best we can do was to provide Pakistan the arm supply and vetoed the establishment of PRB from East Pakistan.

In 90's China is on economical opening and reform..Deng want the less trouble so we can concentrate on economy reform, we just get alone with Soviets, Tien anmen square event put our relation with West on cold...If China make an explicite move against India...Soviet-Union will lose face...becase attack their formal ally is not wise..and U.S will certainly make big strory out of it....that only my opinion..i could be wrong.

Not quite sure about this time...we become more an more competitors...eventually we will play as zero sum game..so don't assume that China will seat idlely...you Indian army is refining the theory of two fronts war..maybe they know thing will eventually happen.

u well know what Russia did for India in 71. keeping at bay the US navy.. then what is China in front of it. Nothing. Also in Kargil Russia had declared full support for India. If China had intervened then they would have had it badly from Russia and India together. n everyone knows no one is coming for China against India.

Till relations b/w India n Russia are like they are now... Chinese will never interfere in any Indo Pak conflict.. even if they do.. they will be counting their last few days as a country.

but when it comes to war nations support their allies.and India n Russia are the two strongest allies in the world. There are no two allies who are as close in the world as India n Russia.

Russia cares about India for its money but is China's genuine friend. That is why we have joint exercises every year while India goes with the enemies of Russia for joint exercises.

In a real war, we can pay Russia triple the amount of money India can just so it doesn't sell its weapons if necessary.

but when it comes to war nations support their allies.and India n Russia are the two strongest allies in the world. There are no two allies who are as close in the world as India n Russia.
