Imported. Radars, propulsion, arresting gear, and elevators. Basically the whole thing is imported except the Hull, initially steel was imported until Russia screwed the order.

Oh, the elevators are indeed installed - if you look at the first left image - but otherwise it does not change much.

Care to show when the last time a Chinese carrier had "failed engines at sea and had to be towed to the shore". I don't remember in fact ANY such incident! They had indeed issues but never a carrier had to be towed to the shore.
