Human rights violations in held Kashmir not internal Indian matter: OIC

neither India is part of OIC nor they have any jurisdictions over any Indian state.

The same goes for the E.U but if the E.U decided to put sanctions on you then there is tangible consequences for india.

The OIC is not at that position but if it heads there over the coming years then tangible consequences for india could be severe especially if Pakistan as expected also grows in strength

No one here is Excited...We are Not INDIANS...Reason to post this is, the other day I was reading a thread where Indians were posting there Usual B.S about how Modi will Isolate Pakistan, How China and Saudi Arabia will Left Pakistan due to India, How Iran and UAE will now be working with India against Pakistan...And the next day, OIC issued this statement :rofl::rofl:

Been hearing this from OIC for nearly two decades, its time people started thinking rationally. As long as India has the Economic, military and diplomatic muscle other than a few sqeaks, nothing tangible can be/will be done in Kashmir. Like it or not, the Kashmir terrorism is in its end times...

End times???? You have a state in turmoil under curfew, every death is another locality injected with outrage and hatred towards india.

Same goes with every pellet, every minute of curfew and every stone thrown or Pakistan flag waved

If you think this is over your delusional

Hilarious when a Saudi sheikh talks about human rights. Their women have no rights, different rights for immigrants, no democracy, medieval tribal culture.
Do they allow burkini in Saudi land.

Indians suffer from delusion on a grand scale...even common indians find it irritating and want to escape from their country...

India after having the second largest muslim population in the world and not being a member of OIC makes OIC a joke.

You know what, Kashmiris have gained a victory already and India has lost one without even noticing. It is the moral right. No Indian now talks of "Kashmirs are Indians" or "Kashmir is India" but rather "we wouldn't let go Kashmir as long as India is power" - so on ideological fronts, you have lost your stance in your own heads. Congratulations!

Now the second part - "how long" then India took 90 years to get its independence after losing 1857 war of independence. When you are determined to get what you want, it is only a matter of time when you have it. Kashmiris are determined, they are standing against India and their resistance is on the rise. There is no doubt that Kashmiris will have their independence - its just the matter of time now.

And good luck feeling strong.. we need you to stay in this mindset bit longer.

FYI Kashmiris include Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims (Shia's Sunni's and Ahmedi's) being sub sects.. The Hindus and Buddhists support India. The Shia's overwhelmingly support India not to mention half of the Sunni's. The only folks who want freedom are the Jihadis who killed and chased away Kashmiri pundits from the valley. You might have forgotten it was a local Shepard who informed India of 1999 Kargil intrusion, that includes your operation Gibraltar. Majority of the villages in the border have VDU( Villages Defence Units), these are KASHMIRIS , both men and women who are given arms and ammunition training to fight Jihadis by the Indian Army. Because your terrorists out of frustration would have start killing innocent villagers.Almost all the intel of terrorists movements and locations come out of local informants, Your precious Burhan Wani was killed because someone in his own locality betrayed his position over to the IA.The local VDU's along with the IA killed Burhan. IF you know how India delt with Khalistan movement, you would realize what exactly is going on. You people have no fucking clue about Kashmir and only believe the media and religious propaganda.

@graphican
In 1947, Britains population was 36 million and India's 400 million. So it was very tough for them to rule over India, 8000km from their homeland.

But in this case Kashmiris number only 7.5 million whereas India has over 1.2 billion in addition to a land border with Kashmir.
So the two situation are not comparable.

Never heard about OIC ... do they carry any weight.. uhhh no!

The only propaganda is in your head.

Its been 70 years of occupation and hundreds of thousands of people attend the funeral of a man who wished to kill indians

Where was the outrage or counter protest by the alleged india loving Kashmiris, why would these people accept rule by foreign dark hindus as opposed to their own.

ISLAMABAD: Human rights violations in India-held Kashmir are not an internal matter of the Indian state, said Iyad Amin Madani, secretary-general of the 57-member Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The head of the world's largest bloc of Muslim countries has expressed concern over human rights violations in India-held Kashmir, which has seen weeks of deadly clashes between Muslim protesters and police.

Madani told a joint news conference along with Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz that the situation in Kashmir was deteriorating and urged the international community to act, saying the situation should be resolved at the political level.

"The international community should raise its voice against the atrocities in India-held Kashmir.

“Unfortunately, very few voices have come out against Indian tyranny,” said Madani.

“The situation in Kashmir is heading towards a referendum. No one should be afraid of a referendum and the solution should be through the United Nations resolutions in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. The human rights violations in India-held Kashmir are not internal matter of the Indian state.”

The secretary general said the OIC is eager that the Kashmir issue is resolved and fully supports Pakistan. “The OIC has a dedicated special advisor on Kashmir and a liaison group that will meet at the UN General Assembly session in the United States.”

“Just statements alone are not enough when it comes to occupied Kashmir but the issue cannot be raised at the political level with silence.”

The secretary general said he hopes the next session of the OIC will be held in Pakistan. “Pakistan has hosted many historical sessions of the OIC in the past.”

The Advisor on Foreign Affairs welcomed Madani’s remarks, saying the two had spoken at length on the Kashmir issue.

Aziz stressed that Pakistan and India should resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue. “We want dialogue with India, but we are waiting on India’s response, after which the situation will become clearer.”

The foreign affairs advisor urged the international community and the UN take notice of the human rights violations in Kashmir.

The Islamic Community was always united at least in words when it came to Kashmir. Even when they are fighting civil wars in their own countries, debating what is Islam and what is not, suffering defeats due to other powers. signing business deals with India etc, they always had the time to issue statements furthering the Islamic cause in Kashmir.

This is not unexpected.

But this time, the non Muslim alliances are also coming together to be honest and taking note of the broader situation.
USA and Russia are good examples. In spite of their massive differences, they are united in the bombing campaigns. You can say that they still probably hate each other, but they together hate their 'enemy' more.
