How much a doctor earns in India/ Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

Is there any doctor, member of this forum? Please advise how much a doctor earns during his house job in BD/ India and SL? Just for my knowledge.. as in Pakistan (Punjab) doctors are on strike demanding a hike in the salary and grade.. Now Punjab government is retaliating by black listing them for the govt jon in pakistan and their, so called, criminal record is being sent to UK and Gulf so that they should not find a job even there.. how cruel...!!!!

Don't worry doctors in India are also doing strikes, frequently.. Its for many reason, like hike in salary, protection from angry people,etc etc..
In India a doctor in private hospital earns about 80-110K indian rupees per month..My neighbour is doctor..

In Gov job
Medical officer / plain MBBS gets around 50k
PG Doctor gets around 70-90k INR + perks
Super PG candidate --1 to 1.25 lakh +perks

Private hospital Sky is the limit...depend on ur skill & experience......i personally know a MD medicine who in 5 yr after PG set up private polyclinic for 1.25 Cr So on avg he earned 20 lakh /yr

hey man first of all there is no super pg its superspecialisation/list and being a mbbs student i can tell you that even obtaining the degree what u call plain mbbs is damn difficult.
and btw the earnin chart that u have given is somewhat correct.

Nice to meet fellow colleague....No need of telling me MBBS is Difficult...Toilled myself for 5&1/2 yr Now preparing for AIPGME/NEET PG 2013....but I had fun also lot of memories ......Nothing beats a feeling of being a DOC
SuperPG term is for layman on this forum....
Are You also prep for any Exam or Finished with all studying?????

for ur information a doctor should get double the amount what dearone_22 has said bcoz i think 1 INR =2 PKR.

If Final MBBS....My Advice join a PG prep lectures as soon as possible.....they help a lot...

Doctor's Salaries are good i think but engineers unfortunately get very low salary.Engineer in Pakistan would usually get around 30-40k per month only (starting salary) sometimes even lower after going through hell for 4 years.

sky is the limit for the deserving doctors in India...the Gastroenterologist I consult must be earning more than Rs.5 lacs P.M.
