How many vegetables and fruits do you eat everyday: Asian perspective

What is that? I had them before but don't remember the name

I guess it is called pamelo in English. Sort of like grapefruit but not as sour and has much thicker exterior.

That's it. It's good but all imported to Canada. Too cold here to grow exotic fruits. I miss durian, sour sop, pomegranite

Dear goodness me ! That looks so scrumptiously delicious, a las, can't eat so much of that anymore. You should watch the fried food intake @Chinese Bamboo --- it can contribute to high cholesterol. Eat more steamed dishes, the more greens, the more soup, the less oil, the better.

I'm speaking as one who used to devour fried food and lots of pork. My triglycerides went off the wall, now my GP warned me to lower my meat intake, and raise my green intake. Please, don't eat too much fried food. Once in a while, in moderation.

Dude, it's healthy, but way too unappetising for me.:(

. Yes it's healthy and makes a really good drink, but a bit sweet
Winter melon is veggie dude, I had winter melon soup with meat ball inside.

Started at 99元。

Dropped to 79元 in mid summer.

I find them slightly expensive.
79yuan per ? rmb or NT?

Haha, pamelo season comes! I will have a whole pamelo every 2-3 days.
Here fruit shop stuff will help you peel off.

Yea, this can be made into sour soup, specially if you put ginger, and bokchoy with it, and some tuna. Its good, healthy, low in fat. And i hear it can help digestion problems. My mom cooks this alot during summer time.

We have it too, but it is added with sugar. Original winter melon is not sweet.

It is per/NT. I am not sure how much jin. Probably 4-5 jin. So, it is around 20-25NT per jin.

Of course they sort them out and the best ones are sold more expensive.

yes of course. But the combination of the sugar and winter melon makes for a real nice refreshing drink.

Never had it served sweet, but whenever i've had Tougan to Gyuniku no nimono --- its usually served either sour or slightly salty.

Typically this is how we prepare it:

Sometimes we make a version with seafood (shrimp), sometimes we add tamarind to make it soury-tasting,
