How many vegetables and fruits do you eat everyday: Asian perspective

Yeah, it would be nicer if with a bottle of ice cold beer.

Only after leaving school, I start to miss school canteen food, cheap, safe, delicous.
Yep, memorable days.
BBQ+chicken noodle, my favourite at school.

Indian cuisine is full of vegetables, but most of the dishes its either fried/cooked for too long and it ends up losing most of its nutritional value. East Asians and Viets have got it right, having it steamed or in soup form is much more healthier.

Ah, good thread and I feeled hungry when I saw it. People in where I live really love spicy food. We add pepper even we cook vegetables :D:D:D

But very dilicious! 湘菜 is very famous in China.

I like these.
My mother comes from Hunan Province, I haven't seen a single person who can eat more spicy food than I do. For breakfast, I prefer very spicy rice noodle.

I eat more veggies and fruits than mat overall. I can eat 1 lb of veggies/fruits per day. On average probably half a pound of veggies per day.

Chinese actually don't eat that much meat.:frown:

Less meat, less fermented and process food+veggies/fruits=less chance of getting cancer and other chronic illness.

Also I follow the traditional way of Chinese eat. Ie. certain food are considered in the hot, cool, wet hot category, etc

Started at 99元。

Dropped to 79元 in mid summer.

I find them slightly expensive.

Now 柚子 is quite affordable.

What is that? I had them before but don't remember the name
