Hindu Mythology cartoons maybe banned in Pakistan

You are still not getting it. Ramayana or Mahabharata are Indian Epic . Don't see them with religious perspective. We see Ramayana, Mahabharata, But we also see sai baba(A muslim peer), Ashoka(Buddhistha), Religious programs of Jainism . One striking thing also about our movie industry is that in many movies we have shown parsi culture who are extreme minority in India.

Ashoka was not a god so dont twist the facts. You can show cartoons based on characters of your kings i have no issue with that be them hindu, muslim or budhists.



Just explain to me what is the need for having hunuman cartoons for kids??????????????????

As far as sai baba is concerned you have altered even that character and made his idols and worshiping it.

Sorry we do not buy any idol worshiping of even a Muslim.



The BOTTOM LINE Is ban these cartoons which are aimed at spreading religious thoughts and not entertaining Children.

I am sure you will not like to end up listening to a negative remark about your god hunuman from a non-Hindu kid watching the cartoon because these days kids are very sharp and can question the worshiping of snakes and so on as well.

Yes The Davinci Code is banned and we also protested it. flawed notion of freedom of expression should be changed by now.

You are right we are to be blamed to allow religously motivated cartoons from India to be watched by our small kids. We should have banned them. After all i do not see anything positive thing our kids gonna get from what ramyana narrates neither i see anything positive our kids going to learn by watching what hunuman as god.

Please dont talk about Indian tolerance as it gives us flashbacks to Gujrat, babri Mosque and recent Orrissa not to mention live burning of Sikhs.

In India in almost every dargah Hindu devotee outnumbers muslims and in any gurudwara except punjab,haryana, delhi range Hindu devotees outnumbers sikhs so what you are talking is not the truth.

And in mosque you don't see many Hindus because Hindus think that muslims will not let them go into the mosque. I myself have visited church,gurudwara,dargah,mandir but never a mosque because I don't know that presence of Hindu in a mosque is allowed or not.

2. can you please also oppose ban in cow slaughter and sale of cow meat in New Dehli on the same pretext of supporting minorities ?? I can understand that Hindus do not eat cow meat but Muslims do so why to ban it in Dehli ? What about Muslim minorities ?

Many religious scholars of all religion reads and learns about other religions. It takes a little insanity to understand this fact. Can i expect some from you now.??

Most religious scholars actually do not read into other religions. There is a very famous Islamic debater called Zakir Naik (I attended his lectures. He is amazing- has a lot of knowledge of both Islam and all other faiths; many people have converted in front of my eyes after listening to his lectures) and he is from India. He was having a debate with a christian scholar about Science in Quran and Bible. This christian scholar lost horrifically; he had no knowledge about the Qur'an!

then dont watch it if you do not like it. Simple. Why stop others who want to watch and have good entertainment and alongwith have their kids watch something that teaches good values(as aganst violence filled cartoons).

Weird. Dont Hindus in Punjab watch these channels? What if there were cartoons showing Islamic characters? Wouldn't they have a bad effect on the Hindu kids?

The population exchange in greater Punjab region in 1947 was nearly complete. There is very miniscule Hindu and Sikh minority in Pakistani Punjab. Same is is true for Indian Punjab/Haryana/Himachal Pradesh states where there is very small Muslim minorities. Islam does not allow any depiction of human characters so any cartoons or films depicting any Muslim holy figures are not allowed. The Hindu kids in Pakistan can download these on their computer and watch/distribute them.

The cartoons do not preach Hinduism...however they do portray morals! just like a social studies class in any school!
Please do not twist the matter..so do you agree or not that itsdoesn't matter what Hindus want to see in Pakistan..its the majority that decide?
