Govt Crackdown on the Islamabad protesters | Updates & Discussions

That's true, but that support isn't for Imran Khan, it's actually the hate for Nawaz Sharif and support for Musharraf.

Karachi, Gujranwala, Quetta and Peshawar.

@balixd, dekh lo phir kaha tha na.
And that's how you play havoc with the whole nation just to settle some personal disputes with a person...Well some professional attitude.
But I must ask, why was PDF management so actively promoting this plot? I witnessed @Aeronaut going all guns blazing on us....

"Supporters of cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan and Canadian cleric Tahir ul Qadri beat a riot policeman during an anti-government protest in Islamabad on September 1, 2014 — AFP"
That is not good...neither was shooting innocent protesters....

But still taking law in your hands is not at all good...

Though I have seen some similar pictures circulating since last night....Hence the question as to when and where...

So this means that we can expect changes in army Corp Commanders and COAS in the next few days?
Nope.

These 5 Corp Commanders and DG ISI are nearing retirement, and their retirement orders will be coming out shortly. So they are going to be changed anyhow.

But don't expect them to be sacked or anything.

Probably take gas-masks battons and then charge at PM's house in Singapore with Mob and without their permission and you'll get a Taste of Pur-Aman ehtijaj first hand.

As if General Raheel is their personal adviser/assistant and not COAS!

General Raheel is a man of honor. He comes from one of the few MOST Honored families within the military. His stake is JUST as much in Pakistan as any other Pakistani. And the MILITARY is NOT a separate institute. It is an ARM of the Federal Gov't. Try to avoid disrespecting individuals who live WAY above your silly idiotic post.

Next, the Federal Government comprises of the Military and the Judicial system. So for their country, General Raheel or others, will spend AS MUCH time as possible in avoiding further deterioration of a crisis. The fact that the military is behind the entire system the way it should be is a HUGE change in Pakistan's landscape and its very positive. And ONLY brave leaders change courses for the betterment of their public. General Raheel HAS changed that course instead of listening to "Angels" who were supporting IK and the Mullah.
When you come across a situation like this and you see a leader changing an entire institutes code of conduct for the better, you commend it, not make derogatory comments about it.

Unlike IK and Mullah that other call LEADERS who have stayed behind like cowards and have lied to people off their teeth and have innocents killed and injured, and received "Terrorist" credentials from across the globe, the real leaders are who change things for the better. Gen. Raheel is doing the real leader work, supporting a system whether he likes it or not. But he knows its the BEST option Pakistan has right now and its the same system that offers a lot of growth to the people of Pakistan. I commend him for his efforts. You should too.

What sort of a game is Javed Hashmi playing?

Really confusing stuff here.

BTW, hearing news that PM asked for resignation of COAS and DG ISI and a reslution is going to be put forward. If this is true, then that will be the death knell for government.

And if Army was really behind these protests as per JH and Nawaz Sharif, then they would have taken over the govt by now since there is practically no writ of the state in the area.

You are DAMN RIGHT BRO, IF ARMY Wanted Power then they have already missed 100s of Golden opportunities in last 18 Days.

Really? Take over the entire federal govt because a few square km are not under govt control because the govt doesn't want to create political martyrs? That's some stretch!

Well mind you...no one had no baton for 17days...who supplied?

And mind you those who charged most did so coz of the firing from behind which wont happen in Singapore = no charging....

The Fan group is suffering from a nervous break down....I mean so blinded in dilusion that they were chanting mubarak mubarak on martial law. And these kids thought army would have IK the reigns of the country.
