Goodbye GPS! India Desi Navigation System IRNSS Is Revolutionary

Hitting a target so small as a satellite in a geostationary orbit ? Ohh man...I like this guy.
:hitwall: Oh my goodness, i have to enlighten so many "people"...I already like you because you live up to your national repo but since you are the neighbour of my country of origin. Did you know that ESA landed its probe on a comet Touchdown! Rosetta’s Philae probe lands on comet / Rosetta / Space Science / Our Activities / ESA
Landing on a Comet is much more difficult task than to destroy a satellite in Geostationary orbit. Comets are really far, very different orbital shapes and then LANDING on it....destroying is much more easier .....Please buddy think for some time...it does not hurt if you think...your teacher told you the wrong thing :)

Graduate from Jinn school of aerospace
There is where you went :rofl: Now it makes sense.....I think you have vedic inter galactic spaceships thousands of year ago too :)

:) I admire your perseverance. There is actually hell and heaven difference between that and this case, not even talking about practicality.

I appreciate your resistance to enlightenment....would you like to describe it in technical terminology, I don't know how it is in india but "heaven and hell" is not considered a technical term in rest of the world.

Let IRNSS become functional first......then say goodbye to GPS......
You guys mock India yourselves.....and blame others when they troll......
sats are operational already. check that first. :p

'operational' without a receiver? lol typical deluded and ignorant Indian```your IRNSS is as 'operational' as a Lamborghini without THE engine``

 this is how your banana media brainwashes ignorant and naive Indian

ISRO eyes a global role in satellite navigation - NATIONAL - The Hindu

Both IRNSS and GAGAN, he said, would drive an unlimited set of personal, public and industrial users, from transportation, railways, forestry, farming, agriculture and security. Around 200 navigation receiver sets built by industry and using ISRO design would be out soon.

Navika Electronics - Leading manufacturer of GPS/GNSS receiver modules | SBAS/GAGAN/IRNSS Module | GPS/GLONASS/GNSS receiver chips | GPS RF front end chip | GLONASS RF front end Chip | GPS Baseband chip | GPS system on chip plus complete GPS/GNSS/Wireless software | solutions and reference designs is making IRNSS receiver

sheer stupidity is appalling. It's not a question of feasibility. What due you think? Every other space mission can be turned into a weapon. Is that what you are suggesting ? Or are you suggesting weapons like that are already present ? Either cases, you need to do a lot of explaining how!

Google maps or similar can be used as the base overlay. This is dependent on the manufacturer of the receiver.....not the signal provider.

If google sells its mapping to India then it would loose its own google maps out there as ppl would opt for IRNSS and they would never like that.Lets wait then.

No amount of explanation will do. lot of jealousy, heart burn & butt hurt has made them lose their balance.
When every thing fails they will start comparing with china or resort to dirty toilet stuff.

I'm not explaining anything. I want him to make an even more stupid comment. Next thing he will say will be something in the line of - If man can launch satellites into space, then why they are still developing new missiles!

And then, I will share it with my friends!
