Because Afghans, for example, look more like me and everyone I know, than Indians do. I feel commonality with them also based on culture and religion.

I have no problem with Indians or Eskimos, they just can't do Khattak dance with me.

:pakistan:

No European ancestry whatsoever.
afghans I agree speically pashtuns , but rest of middle easterners are quite distinct

I thought it's mutations itself that determine drift.
In a closed ecosystem like a biosphere like the Earth, perhaps you are right. But what about migration or natural selection?

I probably know more about Iranian genetics than most Iranians, Indian genetics than most Indians, African genetics than most Africans.
I am no expert, I learn everything online, but 95%+ people I know have no interest in genetics.
Then you should study anthropology or something. I mean this sort of stuff is not the kind of thing you can learn online. Unless you have a general idea of what an academic career in this sort of fields looks like and you can't get that without dialogue and learning from the real experts. And I'm ignoring that any unbiased expert needs their own lab equipment to conduct independent research on this sort of stuff.

many darker pakistani girls are prettier than lighter pakistani girls

beauty=/whiteness , its mostly a eurocentric standards

Thats right, being white is not necessary more beautiful/handsome than darker tone people since the face feature is also important. And for men, being brown is not necessary inferior than white skin men since I see in my life experience that white skin girl dont have problem with that.

This Iranian girl for instant has chosen this Indonesian guy as her lover. I just see Bahador Alas saying it in the comment section :D

Oh you can definitely learn these things online (including journal papers if you have the patience) and I'm sure eventually some of it will become part of school curriculum just to give kids a broader understanding of the world around them, like how the natural sciences or computing were introduced.

If you are talking about Gilaks and Mazandarani people then they are not Iranic but related to the Caucasus region, and no, they don't have blonde hair in any considerable frequency..

I have been to Iran and seen such people in Tabriz. Don't know about their origins but they call themselves Iranian and very patriotic.

Lol, Sintashta is carbon copy of Corded Ware. Where do you think they came from?
Technically true.

I have been to Iran and seen such people in Tabriz. Don't know about their origins but they call themselves Iranian and very patriotic.
Just meant that they don't cluster with mainstream Iranians.

They guy have an edge in looks than the girl :p:, #justsaying.

Maybe at some point some of this stuff will be made available in a high school curriculum, but that doesn't mean you can learn this sort of things online.

I'm no expert, but I think you might have already made a few mistakes.

For example, I think at some point you interpreted that Saudis are closer to Europeans than Iranians because of the distance figures you posted earlier and talked about Natufians, but that was a wrong conclusion. For example, imagine two antipodal points on a circle. OK? Let's say A=(1,0) and B=(-1,0). Then both of them are equidistant from the origin, but the distance between A and B is further than A or B to the origin. Now let the origin represent the genetic material of an average person in Fars and then take A and B to be an average Saudi and an average Parisian. Do you now see the problem?

Or you said only mutations count in genetic drift which seems wrong to me because I think you are ignoring migration and selection.

I'm just talking my mind though. Nevertheless, even the idea of finding an average Iranian guy from Fars is quite technical and can be done in several ways not giving necessarily consistent results.

I have found Gulf Arabs, Iranians, Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraqis, Egyptians, Afghans, North African Arabs, Berbers, Turks, Ozbeks, Kurds, Tajiks, and even some Sudanese who look quite similar to Pakistanis.

Throughout the Muslim world, there are definitely some common traits among us.

You cannot really generalize here. That is my main point.

Once you cross Pakistan-Indian natural border westward, we are all similar looking from my experience.

I actually don't consider Pakistan a South Asian country, but a Southwestern, Middle Eastern, and Southern-Central Asian country.

We have 220 million people who have come from all over the Muslim world, there is amazing diversity in our nation.
