The fact of the matter is this ex is doing Modi's bidding for him for two reasons.

1- The military point of view in India always had been that the politicians had always been very slow to act on military's procurement requirements, which impacts their fighting capabilities.

2- To save the Indian Army's ultra ego. To fool their public that they are still "super power". The only reason they couldn't respond to Pakistan's daylight bravery is that they didn't have the hardware to do so, otherwise they would have wiped PAF.

Only chest thumping Hindu zealots can subscribe to such point of view. Unfortunately most of Indian voters are buying this narrative, giving the impression BJP may be back in power.

The problem is the host, not the system. Sooner Indians realised that is better for them.
Only a week before the air Skirmishes one Indian channel was giving the "Armchair Generals" among Indian masses, the full scale military plan how India is going to wipe out Pakistan, through air, missile strikes and then ground forces.

But after 27th Feb, the reality just dawned at them, the hardware they think can destroy Pakistan is not enough to even do few air battles with Pakistan.

I think Pakistani general public (not some knowledgeable people on this forum or else where) have no idea what was done on 27th by PAF.

The effect of just one single incident of strikes had been such that ever since that day Indian air force is in the state of shock and of paralysis, unable to respond to "Daytime Bravery" of PAF.

PAF chosen the day light to attacks instead of using the cover of darkness, for two reasons.

1- To demonstrate their stated aim "Time and Place of their choosing". On that day time and place of their choosing was the "Brigade Headquarters" where their COAS and senior personnel (more likely than not, the Israelis too) were engaged in battle preparations.

2- To demonstrate to the Indians that they can do what they like with impunity in the broad daylight but IAF can still do jack shit against PAF.

Both messages delivered, which are still causing ripples in Indian's ranks.

I still think, we should have gone for the kills on 27th and on subsequent days when we had the chance to do so. We should have never let the Indians off he hook so lightly.
