I am talking about pakistani law not law of USA. If your own courts do not accept the case (which you dont care), who will pronounce them guilty then? Afterall, its the courts (higher courts usually) which interprets the law/constitution.

Obama does not have to respect pakistani law, if he has violated american law, he should be prosecuted.

exactly , I do not have to follow US law , or Indian law , or any other Countries Law , I will only follow the Law of Pakistan & thats It.

what you dont understand is , Constitution & law are two different Things , Every decision of court is Part of the law ,Constitution however is the basics , the Absolute law of a country , no court no Assembly can go against it , so it is NOT POSSIBLE for a court to not accept a case that is based on the constitution. So until and unless you can show me where SC of Pakistan rejects this case , please dont argue about validity of Law.

The Death for Blasphemy is not part of the Law , it is Part of the Constitution of ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN.

Looks like they make anyone an opinionator these days ...:disagree:

whatever happened to this ??

http://www.defence.pk/forums/announcements/57293-zero-tolerance-policy-support-terrorism.html

So Now Following the law of my Country is Terrorism ?? How close minded can you get.

Did i said somewhere e, That lets Burn America , lets Kill Innocent , lets Terrorize people , NO , I only said , that Guilty Should be Punished , according to the law of My Country, Thats it , You on the other hand , had no idea what i was talking about , or what i was saying , but had to interfere . Just So Typical.

However Thanks for Proving my point . That When you cannot argue & When you know you are wrong , Then you start Shooting arrows in the Dark & Change the Topic ,

First , Those guys are professional Enough to not get caught or leave anything behind that connects them with this .

2nd , These matters are never made public , only thing you will see is that , The person died , of Accident/Heart Attack/Medical Reason and 101 other reason.

Just saying

Understood Sir, but please note that you said "These matters are never made public". Having a sitting Federal Minister offer a reward for killing the national of another country is not quite the the right thing to do, is it?

Yes , If the Law of PAKISTAN says it is Right to Kill Someone who Insults Islam Then it is , True this is a public Forum , but it is a PAKISTANI forum , where we follow CONSTITUTION of Pakistan, and the CONSTITUTION of Pakistan says the person who commits any crime against the Islam is Punishable by DEATH.
So Yes i am Following the law, & i am giving the argument , you on the other Hand Know Nothing About My Religion , My County , My Beliefs , & then you dare to tell me that I am Wrong ?

Please stay out of My way .. and come argue with me when you are actually capable of that. Now Get lost

Sir, please do not forget that the law of Pakistan applies to Pakistan only.

..........

exactly , I do not have to follow US law , or Indian law , or any other Countries Law , I will only follow the Law of Pakistan & thats It...................

Because you are a citizen of Pakistan, either exclusively or dually, right?

Similarly, Sam Bacile the Lanati is subject to the laws of his country and his residence, if different, right?

i Follow the law of My Country , not any other country , If Constitution says something , it does not matter if court will register a case or not.

Was Osama a Us citizen ? USA killed 1.5 million people just to kill a man , who did not come into their jurisdiction.

So please . go give this lecture to someone else ..

Does anyone doing blasphemy in Pakistan entail immediate death sentence? Doesn't the court decide the verdict? Isn't calling for a bounty on someone's head considered illegal in Pakistan?
1. The person is not Pakistani.
2. Though hurting Muslim sentiments, Pakistan is not the only Muslim country.

Courts 'interpret' the constitution and also decide whether the constitutional provision is applicable in this case or not.
How exactly will the constitutional provision be carried out, other than in a court of law.
Are ordinary pakistanis allowed to use the constitutional provision to carry out the sentence. Are law makers(parliament/provincial assemblies) allowed to do that?

Also, please post the relevent part of constitution, I am curious to know more about it.

He should be scared of khomenei now, for stealing his thunder. :)
Only way iranian offer will look respectable if they declare their whole foreign reserve as bounty.

Unbelievable!

Pakistan, as a country, has officially jumped the shark.

Bilour sahab is on some new strand of the lovely green ****! :pop:

hmm quiet an emotional Minister but he should be aware that there are pretty uneducated and simple People in his province they would really take it seriously. it might be a publicity stunt that i agree, or may be he Had no control over his anger after seeing the video. that is why it is advised not to watch such things. you should protest and encourage people for the peaceful and meaningful Protest to achieve your goal of bringing the culprit to justice so that it can never happen again. but by issuing such statements he is setting a bad example. indeed the Love for the PROPHET peace be upon Him suggest that we should indeed kill the person and make an example out of him, but lets wonder and Search the scriptures How would/Did the Prophet peace be upon Him, React and reply to such matters regarding Himself and the Prophets (peace be upon Them) before Him (P.B.U.H)

Off topic question but since the film maker was Egyptian Copt are Palestenians Christians mostly Copts also? Just curious.

He was a thoroughly disgraced human being to begin with but is not bringing national shame to the country by his loose lips. Such calls for violence are unacceptable by a minister and he should be barred from future politics and thrown in jail.

The part that especially got to me was him invoking help from the Taliban.

BBC News - Anti-Islam film: Pakistan minister's bounty condemned

A Pakistani minister who offered $100,000 (£61,600) for the death of the maker of an anti-Islam film has been condemned by the PM's spokesman.

Shafqat Jalil told the BBC the government "absolutely disassociated" itself from comments by Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour.

The film, produced in the US, has led to a wave of protests in the Muslim world and many deaths.

The bounty offer came a day after at least 20 died in clashes in Pakistan.

Friday's violence, which saw protesters pitted against armed police, occurred in cities throughout Pakistan, with Karachi and Peshawar among the worst hit.

"I will pay whoever kills the makers of this video $100,000," the minister said. "If someone else makes other similar blasphemous material in the future, I will also pay his killers $100,000.

"I call upon these countries and say: Yes, freedom of expression is there, but you should make laws regarding people insulting our Prophet. And if you don't, then the future will be extremely dangerous."

At one point, he even called for the help of the Taliban and al-Qaeda in killing the filmmaker.

His ANP party, which is part of the governing coalition, told the BBC this was a personal statement, not party policy, but added that it would not be taking any action against him.

Mr Jalil said: "He is not a member of the (ruling) PPP (Pakistan People's Party), he is an ANP politician and therefore the prime minister will speak to the head of the ANP to decide the next step. They are not ruling out action against him but say he will stay in his post for now."

Tear gas and batons

Meanwhile, scores of people were reported to have been injured on Saturday in a clash in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka between police and hundreds of demonstrators.

Police fired tear gas and used batons to disperse stone-throwing protesters who set several vehicles alight, the Associated Press news agency reports.

In Pakistan itself, a peaceful demonstration was held in Islamabad. Protesters marched through the capital and gathered near parliament, chanting slogans against the filmmaker and demanding his punishment.

And in Nigeria, tens of thousands of Muslims marched in the northern city of Kano in a protest that passed off peacefully.

Marchers shouted "death to America, death to Israel and death to the enemies of Islam" in a procession several kilometres long. US and Israeli flags were dragged through the dirt.
In hiding

The exact origins of Innocence of Muslims, the low-budget film that has prompted the unrest, are unclear.

The alleged producer of the trailer of the film, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, is in hiding.

Anti-US sentiment grew after a trailer for the film dubbed into Arabic was released on YouTube earlier this month.

US citizens have been urged not to travel to Pakistan, and the US embassy has paid for adverts on Pakistani TV showing President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemning the film.

Although US targets have borne the brunt of protests against the film, anti-Western sentiment has been stoked further by caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad published this week in the satirical French magazine, Charlie Hebdo.

France shut embassies and other missions in about 20 countries across the Muslim world on Friday.
