They are not the same thing... The earlier is a matter of 'FACT' that happened in 30's and 40's and people are still alive, pictures and documents still available to prove it and therefore, they have enforced a law on an undeniable fact (established in court of law established by this society)...

The later is a matter of faith and as such will always have to be implemented by respecting in the spirit of 'self disciplining and accepting' the faith of others in various societies. You can not make a law out of it and world has enough examples to prove that you can NEVER implement RESPECT by force (unlike what you think in your mind).

Unfortunately, the world is just becoming too intolerant and volatile a place for some miscreants to spoil the whole communal peace just by one lame imbecile act of an insane head! However, generalizing such delusions of a few, on to a race or country or society is equally dangerous and unbecoming of the teaching of any holy figure!

I didn't know portions of Europe = global ban?

The rest of the world doesn't deny it because it is an established and very well documented fact, even if there aren't any laws against denial.

As for why a person who secretly denies it wouldn't speak of it? No law protects you from criticism of your speech.

You vastly overestimate the capabilities of your country, your religion, and the non-existent forces of Islam. Your religion couldn't effectively enforce a ban inside Pakistan, let alone the Middle East, let alone Eurasia, let alone the world. To talk of such is ineffectual blather around the level of 'Pakistan should just be nuked'. It is a mental copout, intellectual bankruptcy.
