That is just nonsense. BD economy is rising and they r doing well. The only advantage india has is that of close links with haseena family and elites of BD. Those peanuts u talk can be replaced by chinese much more efficiently. China is building naval force of BD, weapons sales are increasing. BD is going to be an active and important node for BRI. A change in govt will even hasten the process of BD slipping away frm India.

Male/New Delhi: The Maldives halted Pakistan's attempt to target India on Islamophobia at a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) on Friday.

Ambassador Thilmeeza Hussain, the Permanent Representative of the Maldives in New York at the OIC meet said, singling out India, which the largest democracy in the world and multicultural society and home to over 200 million Muslims, alleging Islamophobia would be factually incorrect.

"Maldives cannot support any action within the OIC, that singles-out or targets New Delhi," Ambassador Hussain said at the virtual meet of the 57-member grouping.

“The Maldives stands firmly against such actions anywhere in the world, including Islamophobia, xenophobia or any form of violence to promote political or any other agenda. However, targeting a specific country will be like sidestepping the real issue. In this light, let me state that singling out India, the largest democracy in the world and multicultural society and home to over 200 million Muslims, alleging Islamophobia would be factually incorrect”.


“ It would be detrimental to the religious harmony in the South Asian region. Islam has existed in India for centuries and it is the second-largest religion in India, with 14.2% of the country's population” she added.

Worry about self nowadays any Indian becomes a jyotish and starts predicting doom of other countries when you yourself are roting from inside. At lot of loans from china are in infrastructure projects which were taken by chinese companies working in Pakistan. Examples like Mohamand Dam where chinese took loans and will operate that dam untill loan is paid back through bills paid. Its build operate and transfer method being opted for most of our new Electricity generation projects. Pakistan didnt take any direct loans from china so please stop making shitty analysis.

5. They also know their relationship with India is much more important than relationship with pakistan
