At 51 Feet, it's bigger than the F-16, JF-17 and the F-7 but I guess being in the background and parked next to an airliner it does look small .

But we're not in a position that we can afford mistakes, and we're not in a position that we can cut ties with "the west". We haven't, and we never will. so Instead of being a major partner in F35 program as well as operating over 100 F35s and how strong that would make Turkey's hand in regional matters. We're in a position of begging for F-16s.

If Turkey did get the F35, would they get the same as Israel's? or will they get a knocked down version?
What about the missiles, will they get same as Israel? or would they do what they did with Egypt?

We would be getting the same ones in USAF. And americans would be getting SOM-J Turkish cruise missile.

The F-35 was suppposed to carry 4 SOM-J internally and 4 externally.


I don't know what Israelis did with their F-35s, I don't know if they use the same F-35A version as USAF or if theirs is any different.

Twining Ceremony of Pakistan Air Force No 29 "Aggressor" Squadron and No 132 "Daggers" Squadron of Turkish Air Force carried out during Exercise Indus Shield.

Both are elite units of respective air forces responsible for developing tactics and studying adversary tactics.
