What's new

Eid Milad Un Nabi (S.A. W) Mubarak

Well yes and no....The general rules havent changed just how people use them....The Arabs themselves have found slang like words and shortcuts like in English....but their literature still does have the olden stuff and since it isnt a dead language you can trace it back just need a good and patient teacher
Yet every degree from the University of Karachi to Al Azhar in Cairo has a study of Arabic poetry from the times to give students context to both language and meaning.

I dont know about Karachi uni but outside Pakistan to a certain extend...They have 4 yrs honors degree to research on language and dig old resources, compare and contrast...I had a ton of friends from the Religious and theology faculty who had the patients to sit down with me and make sure my concepts were rock solid regarding flexibility in ISALM and research - I was already a research student but they helped develop my enthusiasm to research for Islam also
Why not...After all I have the brain and the skills to research so now I do both...

.
If you ask my personal opinion I would like to slap some sense in some people...But I doubt that would do any good some molvi might just get a heart-attack and gustakh-e-godknows what would be issued
well in that reapect like (molana khadim hussain rizvi) who issued the "fatwah" for the assassination of judges and cheif of army staff no one can do nothing except Uturn of Imran Khan from hos prespective that the rules of government should me prevailed And we all are like:secret:
Some of that breed Mullahs also starded jihad in afghanistan against Soviet:USAand results into the total destruction of Afghanistan

.
@Indos I even learnt basic stuff from Raihan

Like the names of the 25 Rasool and in the order they appeared...

I don’t disagree with you but my point is different. It is that the prophet’s life and actions provide context to resolve such ambiguities that may arise due to language interpretation.

Blessed be this auspicious day when our master Rasool Allah (saws) was born. He has touched the hearts of billions upon billions, his influence spread the world over from what was then tiny impoverished Arabia and he will be cherished for eternity by man, angels and animals.
Say all the Salam you can, give as much charity as possible and spend time with your family, friends and wider community in remembering the life of our master(saws).

My favourite naat of all time, sung by Mushtaq Qadri Attari, may Allah's mercy be upon his soul.

Finding it hard to hold back the tears....

So sorry sir I was in hurry for writing the reply
Gustakh-e-etc is there there best defensive and offensive weapon like molana khadim hussain rizvi issued the "fatwah" for the assassination of judges and cheif of army staff no one can do nothing except Uturn of Imran Khan from hos prespective that the rules of government should me prevailed:rofl:
Some of that kind Mullahs also starded jihad in afghanistan against Soviet Than USA and results into the total destruction of Afghanistan:big_boss:

That is the problem, Oscar. They believe to be liberal but they are not. And Rasool Allah (saw) was one of the most liberal person.

Unfortunately, people have misunderstood this word. People here hurt the sentiments of a person who’s religious or even if not religious but respect his religion and get away saying you are conservative mind and he’s liberal.
 MashAllah Statement of the day.

I think the issue is that it is Islam in itself is so widely interpreted and with so many histories and concepts with overlapping/conflicting origins that it is nigh impossible to say what is exactly Islam or not.. after all, the Quran only refers to prayers at three times directly Dawn, day and night.. where did Asr and Maghrib come from?
The reference is given to the tale of the night journey to heaven but the Quran has barely a few sentences on it ; most of the idea of it comes from Hadiath.. which then are essentially(and I mean no disrespect or dismissal) just “he said/she said” compliled a hundred years later at the earliest.

Which is why I always propose leaving it to what one feels is right after consultations and then leaving the final judgement of action to Allah as it is, and should be.

Hadith was compiled from 3 different generations including people who were present at that time. They were cross referenced for historical accuracy and scrutinised before they were published. There is a methodical scientific process to it. It is far from "he said/she said".

If anything it's probably recorded more accurately than things we consider historical fact.

What is the situation with rest of the ummah? Does Turkey, Saudia Arabia, Algeria, Iraq etc celebrate?

@KediKesenFare @Ceylal @HannibalBarca
We do. However, Wahabis, ISIS-minded people and sectarian idiots refuse to celebrate it; especially in the Arab world. They consider this day as bidah which is not true. There is no rule in Islam which is forbidding duah and praying together as a community.

People often assume that self-declared Supermoslems aka radical Salafis are forcing other Muslims into the mosques. But this is just one side of the story. On the other hand, they try to cut you off from religious practice if they think it's wrong what you are doing.

In this case today, we're talking about a centuries-old tradition which suddenly has become bidah. Ridiculous. These idiots are the Islamic version of the Western capitalist forces which are using globalisation to force everyone into the same set of rules.

Islam has different madhhaps, fiqh's, branches, schools for a reason but you cannot argue with radical idiots, I've learned it the hard way.
