do you believe in ghosts, spirits and evil spirits?

well i do based on some of the past experiences....

if there are good powers then we cannot deny the existance of evil

P.S -: When I was very young I heard a rumor, that there is evil spirit of a woman which roams around Lahore on a specific day of an year, on that night if anyone sees her or she see them, they are dead. Is it true or just a ghost story?

I believe there are some unseen creations of God that we cannot see with our eyes but I also think they are not very harmful creatures.

They are not Animals like we humans are and that is one of the reason why this universe is so balanced. They are not harmful by nature "like us" otherwise this universe would have been imbalanced and we would be fighting not for the sake of nations but Humans vs Unseen creatures

there was a tree in my college just outside our hostel many had witnessed a old women dressed in white sitting on that tree late in the night. The same event had been reported by all many seniors and unrelated juniors. actually the place where my college is built was called haunted. whom so ever started buisness in that place doomed before my college in past 50 years. Even my college had sort of bells hanging around here and there which were meant for some sort of ritual for the ghosts.....

I personally don't believe in ghosts or spirits. In Islam we do not believe that the soul of a person lingers on behind after the person is dead.

We do have the concept of Jinn's though. They can be good and bad jinns and its the bad ones usually that possesses people and appear as "ghosts"

I remember once when I "THINK" I saw something weird.

It was long ago when I was 7-8 years old or even younger. I was standing at the end of a long corridor with my grandma who was chatting with a person. It was around midnight and absolutely deserted in the building. Suddenly at the other end of the corridor, I saw a hand appear from behind a wall. It was blackened, burnt and appeared as if it was dead. The hand stayed for few seconds and then it was pulled back. No body or any other part appeared and no one else saw it as they were busy talking.
That night I was scared to no end!!!!

And damn you diva, to make me remember this . Now I think someone is behind me
I have to constantly look around the room now and go sit in a corner.

Ghosts do Exist and There is a Place called "Bhangarh" In Rajashthan, Declared haunted by the Govt of India, and Banned of any Civilian Trespassing ....

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has put up a signboard at Bhangarh stating (among others): "Entering the borders of Bhangarh before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited."

As per hinduism the soul departs and then goes to heaven and hell for specified time to be born again till it attains moksha or we say enlightment. this whole world is a way to reach god. in each life we learn and then we move on to next level or come down. this is the reason for some of kids who are over smart since childhood because of their soul into higher plane...

but when a person dies and his soul gets hung up because of unfulfilled desire it becomes a ghost trying to reach for his judgement. now these can be good or bad.
