Just a general question to the members, regarding how Irans history during the Islamic golden age is perceived by ordinary Iranians.

Iran was part of the Rashidun and Umayyad Caliphs.

Also If Iranians Identify with Arab and Turkish history to some extent.

Most Iranians in US are not very religious people. Actually the Iranian Jews and Christians take pride in their religion, but it seems Iranian Muslims have some sort of inferiority complex.
