Disappointment at Saarc as Pakistan blocks 3 key connectivity agreements

whilst the agreements seem to be a good idea for people-to-people movement, it seems (as usual) that the PK side did not complete their home-work, thus they had no other choice but to vote no at this juncture. it has nothing to do with 'military approvals' as some one has put forth. i work for an MNC whose HO is mumbai but we dont get visas in-time to attend/visit meetings etc (from IHC in PK) but our indian colleagues get their visas fine/intime from (PHC in IN).....so the point is, dont lay the blame at our doorstep, you are as much to blame....we are aware indians are on a Modi 'high" which is fine but lets be realistic...there is 65 years of angst here.

U cannot justify stalling this progressive move based on previous angst.
India having finalised the bilateral treaty with others ,,,the only real loser will be pakistan,so why do this??

And i don't agree with ur logic of not doing homework,,it looks like the same thing to me as iran-pakistan pipeline thing.

Yea just like your Army claims to kill terrorists, but ends up killing innocent school boys? What an example.
That incident was clearly explained and Army accepted its mistake, obviously this is a great example of how things work in India.

Forget modi vs nawaz and india vs pakistan.

Whats the reason for blocking any move that tries to connect the saarc countries in a better manner, please answer this?
The mutual trade will benefit all and not just india, its a fact.

Considering the poverty of our nations this step can best be considerd jingoistic and retrograde and only people to suffer will be common folk like us.

We don't know the full details yet.

Now who is the real loser in here.Noone other than Pakistan.
Pakistan should learn something China and their trade relations.China Japan are bitter rival nations ,look at their trade 330 billion$ and counting. We have border issues with China and look at the trade relation going to touch 100 billion $ mark.

And India already signed these agreements with all other nation except Pakistan. If they dont want then so be it.We should maximise its potentials by signing with all others except Pakistan.

Because India want one way trade.

They only accepted it after they knew they couldn't hide.

Thousands of youth in 1990s weren't so lucky.
Wrong, the kids who survived the shooting had even before the Army's admission corroborated the that it could have been a mistake.

And then there was a case of fake encounter also where soldiers were sentenced to life. Army could have hidden it cause the trial was conducted by army.

when did pakistan blocked constructions of toilets in indian cities?

Grow up,the same statement coming from someone living in west would be okay. Not u

Dude ,border issues and rivalry is one thing .Flourishing trade is other.PM NZ would have been sign this deal if there was no internal protest against him in Pakistan ,even if there is skirmishes in border.NZ dont have that much power in Pakistan like he used to be in May 16 when he was in India. His hands are tied.
Others are gonna take benefit from it.Look at the SL how they played it very well. They are going to grab their fare share in our market.Entire SA except Pakistan would get enough materials and products from India .

What about the mass graves in Kashmir? Why was media not allowed there? Yes that is how things work in India.
