If they aren't speaking out against growing violent extremism and atrocities against their fellow citizens they witness in front of their eyes, they are as bad and rotten as the rest. Every country in the world has some people who openly criticise their society and how the establishment operates, in India such people are non existent. Even if anyone dares criticise the mainstream narrative or India as a whole they are branded as a "traitor" and "Pakistani agent"

Unfortunately that is the case. Silent Indians keep worrying about artificial things like "inflation" and "paying the bills" and will keep doing that for the next 1000 years when instead they should be simplifying their life by bringing in progressive political, social and socio-economic systems through Communism where they won't have to worry about "inflation" and "paying the bills" especially since the last thing won't exist because all basic human rights like housing, basic food, water, electricity, telecom, healthcare, education, mass public transport etc will be free, will not be provided in exhange of money. What stops these Silent Indians from speaking and calling for progressive systems ? It is not as if Nature is preventing them.

The "economic pie" has only increased for the hereditary rich for the last 75 years and decreased or is the same for the poor. The workers of Ambani's group of companies don't own two-billion-dollar homes, only he does. Most of them live in chawls, slums and small middle class rented or loan-purchased houses. During the years of COVID ( which continue now too ) Adani's personal wealth grew by billions of dollars, the bank accounts of most Indians didn't. This anti-Communist "trickle-down economics" has never worked, never will.

Most Indians have lived hand-to-mouth for the last 75 years and will do so for the next 75 years unless they take evenings off and instead of going back to their stupid parents they go to a tea room and discuss Indians to bring about progressive change. After the change they will no longer live hand-to-mouth in a dog-eat-dog society. They will live in comfort, ease and harmony. Other societies have done this decades ago.

I am no economist, but it is doable with right policies and right priorities. If india had continued with socialist policies we would not be in the position we are in. FDI is all time high. so are the dollar reserves.
Unicorn companies are close to a century. A country will be rich and developed when it's companies develop rapidly bringing in innovation and technology. With it you bring prosperity to the nation. For example 1% of farmers in US feed the entire country and also exporting farm produce to the tune of $177 billion in 2021. It is possible because of commercial operations of farming both by individuals and corporations. This would not be possible in a socialist environment.
