Just my racial awareness made me a hater? I have just graduated and near to find a decent job in Canada. I don't hate this nice country. Still, i don't think it is the place that i would integrate into it.

Although i did vote for the seperatists Block Quebecois in the election of October 2008 thank for this douchebag Harper who wanted to call his meeting with Dalai Lama.

The lands belong to the indigenous people, but the notion of Canada came after the Europeans colonized the lands.

However, you always got the first impression the Canadians that people talked about are those of the European descents.

Because most oversea Chinese such as myself always regard ourselves as Chinese no matter what type of nationality we have.

Case in point, many Japanese women and even asian women born in Western countries want to marry a white man. You only have to go on craigslist or any online dating site or even college campuses to see this. It's because many Japanese men want their women to be docile barefoot in the kitchen types. Also, many asian dudes are skinny computer geeks and not the 200 lbs wrestler body types Western women are brought up to find sexy. Many asian women born in Western countries are simply sick of geeky, counterstrike playing anime loving stay inside all day asian nerds and want a white wrestler hunk. Now look at the opposite. Many white guys consider many Western women harpies or too liberal. So they go to asian countries to pick a woman who doesn't nag them all day and waits on them hand and foot. In fact they want asian women so badly they are willing to pay for it.

So, maybe you're right that you don't see many black men with white women. But you certainly see many asian women with white men, and even asian men with white women. So your idea that racial discrimination prevents interracial marriage is totally wrong, at least in Canada.

OK, if this is what you regard yourself then so be it but others may regard themselves differently.

Chinese or Asians have differently mentally. If you take the example of Gary Locke, who is a third generation of Chinese immigrant, but still regard himself as Chinese.

I think it is the same with Indians, who would never forget their true identity. A person who forget his/her own identity is a true outcast. For example, Nikki Haley the houserepresentative of South Carolina is an outcast who converted from Hindu to Christianity to order to please the white population of her voters. Despite the effort to hide/erase her identity, she has still been called as a "raghead" by her following repulicans. This is what an outcast truly deserved. No matter who hard you try to become American, if you are not white, then you are still not a true American.

So no matter you are Chinese/Indian/Pakistani, you need always to be aware and be proud of your own identity!

Her mistake is attempting to appease parts of America which can't be, not the sake of trying. Democratic, gay loving women's rights America would welcome her. Some Republicans who run Harold Ford type ads of course won't. Most black man prefers to marry black woman, but also many black man has been turned off on date with white woman because their race.

Of course, there are some asian women who prefer white men over the men of their own race, but overall these people are still minorities. Most highly educated asian women are racially very conservative. Just like see there are many interracial porns that involved with black men and white women, does that mean most white women prefer black men over white men?

And you think all Asian males are some skinny geeks in front of computer who watched some lolicon anime all over the day. Then you are very wrong.
