The data is wrong.
What's wrong with kowtowing other countries are doing that too, look at abe's japan kowtowing to obama and vietnam kowtowing to tpp.
This is the most talented geopolitical strategy that played by world powers over decades. UK and its smart move again are booked in history.
China card played by the UK, we would not imagined years ago, vividly unfold before world nations. It is a huge leverage in UK's EU tact, a stronghold of soft power connecting the US, now China, and even guaranteeing Briton's sustained economic future and making London the world financial center for the next century by rooting Chinese Yuan.
The UK reinforce its influence as a world power, and it will enjoy a "special relationship" with both the US and now China, the two superpowers in this century.
Kudos.
Both are island nation, but see how the UK is by far smarter and more strategic than Japan.
Since the UK is a former superpower, while Japan is always a stooge who always needs to follow someone else.
It's sad and I am sorry for Japan.
Japan today is more like the Philippines in its political mindset. Mindset will result in some harsh reality that Japan will face in the future if nobody stand up and undo the trend.
Japan once got a chance to rule over Asia and to become a superpower, but they just blew it.
This was a perfect opportunity when China was extremely weak, and the annexation by Japan seemed to be imminent, but they still couldn't grasp a such golden opportunity.
A true superpower wouldn't let a baited big fish to swim away like this.
The short sighed mentality of the Japanese has already showed that they are not suitable to become a dominant power or to rule over a large country.
Japan wanted to be a US across the East Asian landmass but failed because it lacked the resources to sustain it.
Japan is always a US by heart.
But it is nowhere near in capability and sustainability.
That's their dilemma. China needs to judge Japan not by its capabilities, but by its intentions. And prepare accordingly.
Undeniably, the Anglo-Saxon is so much superior compared to the Yamato by considering their respective achievement.
Only the Chinese can challenge the Anglo-Saxon, and no one else can do that.
This is the only reason that the US can give a free pass to Russia, to Iran, even to Cuba, but not to China.
Nobody has shown just how China can add 22 trillion dollars in 15 years to be twice as big as USA is now, even if USA achieves zero growth. All these claims are nothing more than hot air (and some wonderful Chinese fireworks).
