A good strategy is to divide ASEAN nations into blocs. Friendly nations such as Malaysia, Burma, and Indonesia can be included in political deals regarding SCS in the future. Hostile states such as Vietnam and Philippines should be isolated and driven off. Militarily cripple either Vietnam or Philippine will frighten the other from further stealing. I prefer Vietnam since little Viets are so funny when they cry.

Very shortly there will be no friendly nations for China in ASEAN with this kind of aggressive , expansionist mindset .... Myanmar is already warming up towards USA and India ... Malaysia and Indonesia would remain neutral ..... Vietnam ,Philipines ,much of south east Asia Japan, Australia , Korea too are vary of China ....diplomatically Its only going to be tough for China !!!!
