Ma'Sha'ALLAH mubarak to all. Finally, a long awaited news that halted since Coup. Hopefully, the program will prosper and move ahead as desired with fruitful results. Involvement of TAI & BAE speaks volume about quality of upcoming TF-X fighter and I hope that we will be participating through meaningful way. Indeed, Turkiye offer of Pakistan was worthy and who knows how the interest moved ahead in this subject between two countries however, by looking at recent Pak-Turkiye agreements in defence cooperation and co-production of defence equipment may hint that beside other options, we may take part in the same program as per capability and sharing our experience to learn more in this regard. It is expected that in the same continuation, Pakistani delegation is going to visit Turkiye in next month w.r.t. defence co-operation and hopefully will bear more fruits. In'Sha'ALLAH.

As from FC-31 (China) route, things are not clear about PAF purchase of the same but reading the PAF ACM w.r.t. same subejct, PAF will be coming with Next Generation Fighter (NGF) so we may keep in view the both developments or take part initially in any of these programs.

Wish you best of luck brothers....

Very good, we obviously need help in this and GB is the best option among the aviable ones, the road map looks too optimistic but doesnt matter, better late than never.

Such a collaboration is far more than just a plane, it will create a bond which will be helpful to protect Turkish interests in EU and US, this might be the beginning of a historic moment.

And the beginning of Mother lobby... let's seee who wins

Obviously not, EU objection doesnt mean much after the Brexit, Russia wont like it either but will hardly be able to stop it, only problem might be US for whatever reason which has a big influence on GB.
Well EU has no words on it, but individual countries can. The first one in Europe will be France. Then you get the newly aircraft seller, that is china. that's the main guys in the battle. As for Russians or US they have a wide range of aircraft, so them alone will surely not do anything, only if their" allies" press them, for the US you can have Israel or few south EU countries and as for Russia, you can have a RU/CN front or future "turkish" enemies...

Oh I sure wish we were part of this new jet deal , now politicians (Pakistani) tell me you were partners with Turkey on this awesome deal (Fighter Jet deal) and now with UK getting top brand engine

We better not have missed this deal

If we missed the boat..... damn that would be sad

But for now congrats to Turkey and UK for this historic accord

This is one of those moments

I understand France and Israel but how are Russia and China gonna lobby this in the first place? They surely wont like it but theres nothing much they can do against this deal.

GB is thinking strategically here, it might be a good deal for them but whats more important is that GB knows how important it is to keep Turkey on its side. After all its about a partnership with a country sitting in between EU, Russia, ME and North Africa which makes it a key country on the interests in the region.

Turkey is looking for a direction to design its future FP we can see this with all the joining SCO talks and warming relations with Russia, Obama administration and EU damaged the advantage of western world regarding Turkey, what GB did here is a strategical move to climb the ladder in those chaotic times.
Now lets see how Trump administration will react from now on.

I guess many countries were waiting for this agreement. We see potential buyers in a short time.
Always we are looking at our point of view but we are the best choice for England.
US , Russia and China big powers and they will have their own fighter
France and Germany working together in every sector and England reliazed it from Eurofighter jets.
Japanese is on their way and South Korea is working with US,India with Russia. They are new competirors.
With whom they will work with ? Developing fifth generation fighter is a huge investment and without exporting no one can go on to develop next one accept US , Russia and China.
If England wants to go on to be a big player on this sector they need us too much.

Historic deal

But USA under Trump is only business, no ethics. Dont worry.

I really hope that this project will proceed without any hesitation. Who knows, maybe in the future Turkey might be a main contractor in the development and will offer off-set deals to other countries. Lets hope no one screws this up.
