what happen to their supa dupa decades of experience? the skill of all their carrier pilots now under questioning..lol?
the russians had no problem landing and taking off that carrier. now under indian hands for first the time and this..
Russians crashed a mig-29KUB while doing flight tests.

Lolzzz

The only damage was to front nose wheel thus it is minor damage.

Apparently, the shock of the trap and the landing was so much that the nose of the aircraft pointed skywards before the plane dropped down on its nose wheel. The impact damaged the nose wheel. The arrester cables force the aircraft to stop on landing, bringing the aircraft from a speed of about 300kmph to zero in fractions of a second.

China, CV-16 Liaoning has a perfect landing and take off ops so far. Nothing to hide cos, all europe and US statelite are always tracking her operation and ready to report all her mishap. But they are disappointed with CV-16 Liaoning perfect record so far.

China has been operating carriers since how many months? Mishaps like hard landings will eventually happen. It takes years of not decades to master carrier ops.

The USN, UK, France, Russia and India have been operating carriers for decades.

Becos all major carrier ops are tracked by US ,Europe and China satelite. If don't report. They will help disclose it and further humiliate the country for trying to hide it.

How many months has India operate a stobar carrier compare to CV-16 Liaoning and it already scored a mishap?

Then precisely, you shall able to catch our CV-16 liaoning mishap and start to brag about it. But the fact it dont proves, CV-16 LIaoning are operating 100% safe take off and landing so far.

India has operated carriers with sky jumps for decades. The IN also had a carrier with arrested recovery landings for decades.

The Chinese carrier has been in operation for a couple of months, but sooner or later something like a hard landing will happen. It happened to every nation that operated carriers.

But whether your government will release such info or not is a completely different question

How can ski jump compare to Stobar carriers? Are you high on drugs? If you take that into consideration. IN shall be even more ashamed to score a mishap so early into their Stobar carriers ops consider PLAN has zero carrier experience previous and yet 0% mishap so far for our CV-16 Liaoning STOBAR. Since STOBAR is more complicated with arrestor hook involved.

Are you trying to belittle IN and prasing PLAN?

How can ski jump compare to Stobar carriers?

INS Viraat used the short take off method to launch planes while aircraft from the INS Vikrant used arrested recovery for landings. SO the IN has experience with both methods for a long time.

Rather good news if Pilot is safe. Good to know boys are working hard. Migs can be bought.

You have only operated the carrier for a couple of months, sooner or later something will happen anyways, like it did with any other navy in the world which used carriers.

And the question remains, will the PLAN publish mishaps like hard landings and minor damages which can easily been concealed?

Just because YOU dont get to know about it, it does not mean that it never happens.

The most difficult part about carrier ops is never about launching but landing. You do not need an expert to tell you that. That is why your aircraft suffer landing mishap. What does ski jump contribute much to STOBAR carrier ops? Your INS Vikrant is it the one you last used 30 years ago? Does that experience so long count? I doubt so. I don't know why you are trying so hard to prove IN is so experience in carrier ops. If that is the case, accident shall not even happen in the first place with so much experience gather.

I have already prove that with modern satelite monitoring our CV-16 activities like how US exposed our HGV, ASAT and our DF-41 ICBM test. There is no way they do a generous deem hiding any of our landing mishap for CV-16 Liaoning. The fact, we make a 100% safe job makes them not able to bad mouth any of our carrier ops.

CV-16 so far has a 100% safe record , more or less says our PLAN continued upgrade and combat readiness of our professionalism.

naval aviators are flying at 300+ MPH, aiming for a landing patch that is barely 5 meters long on a landing deck that is moving itself and pitching from side to side. Naval aviators refer to landing on an ACC as a "controlled crash" and for good reason.

This is not a job for the lighthearted and it is certainly not easy. There are VERY few pilots in the world qualified to do so and the number of naives whose pilots regularly land on an ACC and that too with an arrestor wire you can count on one hand. Naval aviators are regarded as elite in most militaries and one really cannot underplay how treacherous the job is. In this instance we don't know the specifics- weather conditions, wind speeds, night/day time, visibility, sea state etc etc

It's funny some trolls coming on here and saying nonsense like "flying coffins" and the IN needs to recheck its equipment, coming from members whose navies have precisely 0 experience in carrier operations. What the IN is doing really is very unique- supersonic high performance jets flying off a medium sized ACCs in a STOBAR configuration.

Absolutely right bro.Well those who criticise naval pilots must also consider their risk .They are trained for all weather fighting. Now just imagine a rainy ,thunderstorm day in the Arabian sea.If there is an emergency arise ,our pilots must operate in that condition and landing at that time may be at zero visiblity condition.
So far USN knows such risk .

.
the mig29k like the USN f 18 have much higher approach speed than the j 15 which is the su 33 copy used by china
making mig29k much more harder to land than the j 15. hence it will take time for our pilots to master it as they are more prone to errors while landing
