Test for nation :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

The news was coming that army is in roads of Islamabad and was seen near President House in large quantity, and the rumors for a possible Martial Law started to spread. Now it is in that Zardari is going to visit Mangla and Tarbela dam.

Army always came in broad day light

EMP attack would be similar and more over no electronic device would work. Not even start plug of a bike.

. . .
BTW.. nothing new for Lahore.. it has always been in dark.. ever since Zardari took over and no CNG too.

.
total grid failure happens due to overload basically because the grids are inter connected such a way that If there is overload the other grid will share the load but if both fail, then the whole system trips one by one. In India also it happened last year where total north of India was under power cut but that had a political motive.

.
Power has started to come in major parts of Karachi, Pakistans demand is 8000 MW But right now they currently have only 2400MW in entire Pakistan! !

.
Not exactly. If the start plug is offline during the EM pulse, then it will work after the EMP. All unprotected circuits online will fail only.

KARACHI: Pakistan has been hit by a massive power outage after two
major powerhouses tripped offline, Geo News reported.
According to the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) the
fault struck after the failure of HUBCO Power Plant, which knocked at least
1200 megawatts of power out of the system.
"After HUBCO broke down the system was first diverted to Tarbela and
then to Mangla, but both of them tripped offline one after the other", said
a WAPDA spokesman.
He added that HUBCO power plant was under repair on emergency basis.
He however added that it could take the teams of engineers at least two
hours to fix the fault in the national grid.
"Our teams are working as quickly and safely as possible to identify the
problem and restore power for all the affected consumers", he added.
According to experts the sudden loss of power caused a load-shed, which is
a safety measure that protects the electrical system and prevents a longer,
more widespread outage.
Dozens of cities across Pakistan including Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabsha,
Peshawar, Quetta, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad plunged into
darkness after Mangla and Tarbela powerhouses tripped.
According to sources large swathes of Balochistan including at least 18
districts of Quetta have been affected by the breakdown.
Most parts of Sindh are also facing the same conditions, the sources added.
Reports pouring in from Punjab are not different as hundreds of cities
there also remain without electricity.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwah is no exception as sources say there is no power in
nearly all the major cities of the province.
Panic walloped the country after the mega breakdown as speculations of all
kinds doing rounds everywhere.

According to official reports.. the installed capacity is close to 24K - MW, while during Zardari regime, maximum available capacity remained 14K - MW.

Other fact of Pakistan's electricity is that, 40% of electricity is reported as line losses (essentially stolen) 20% non payment of bills... therefore remaining 40% is charged.

You'r right if any electronic device is offline during the pulse it will work later on. Only the online devices will have their circuits fried.

You dont know the real facts the demand of entire country remains at 8K MW but we only have 5-6k MW, In summer the shortage is more than 3000 MW while our total capacity is at 17000 MW. The power plants cant operate at their full capacity. The demand of only karachi is 2600MW where as KESC Only produces 600 MW and imports the rest from National grid and Hub Power Plant.
The whole country's wiring system should be underground to prevent loss and theft!
