the kornet made great progress with the merkava before in 2006 what is new here is the trophy system and if it is like the isrealis say then it would be very hard to destroy a merkava i am not expert but it would take a number of ATGMs being fired at the same time so that the system wont have a chance to intercept all

@Falcon29 the best ones that Hamas is likely to get and use are the kornet-E and the RPG-29. Also likely the saegheh (an Iranian upgraded RPG-7) and a small chance they may try and get the Russo-Jordanian RPG-31.
Overall I love the Panzerfaust series the most for anti-tank warfare. in addition with the RPG-29 and RPG 31, the Carl gustav and the Spike missile (the sheer beauty of knocking out a merkava tank with an Israeli anti-tank weapon, gives me sweet dreams).
Also it's sad you had to deal with those goyim jannisaries in an education thread.... Just ignore them and their propaganda.

Problem with Gaza is it isn't like Lebanon. When Israel invade Gaza, most of the armor comes from the Eastern portion of strip. And most cities near the eastern border are under heavy bombardment/surveillance so it's not possible to overwhelm with AT fire like Hezbollah did in Lebanon. In Lebanon they invade the south of it and it's easier for Hezbollah to be effective and not be flanked or overwhelmed by Air power especially with their terrain. AT weapons can only delay invasions if you do really well with them but other than that they need upgrades.

They have tried Iranian version of Kornet and some Kornet from Libya, also there is rpg-29 but those weapons have failed in destroying armor. They are more useful against infantry or APC/Jeeps.
