just like pakistanis have nothing in comm9n with bangistanis beside religion same way we have nothing in common with bangistanis, not even religion!

bangladesh is 1200 km (islamabad to Istanbul ) is away from my region saurastra-gujarat. our colsest kins are Sindhis and Rajasthanis by culture and all north india by race/sub ethnicity.

now tell me why should we accept your illegal immigrants when they have their own country ?

yeah i know about that. my ldr is from texaas and her family is class A racist.

why shoud we provide them work ? we are one of the most business minded (selfish) people in the world. we follow simple rule. make money or die. its not our duty to provide jobs to those who turned their country in to hell hole by breeding like rabbits.

our coutries should force their gov. to accept thse pole vaulters. who have nothing in common with us (West india and pak)

yeah i know that some gujjus migrated to pak in 47. even jinnah was a gujarati. hi have visited his ancestral house in gondal as well.

i knkw that some supports MQM. in my openion they should follow example of other memons and sindhi hondus who migrated to gujarat.

like adopting sindhi language and culture.

Thousands of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants arrived in Pakistan in the 1980s, while Bangladesh was battling extreme poverty.[3] By 1995, continuous migration of Bangladeshis crossed the 2,500,000 mark. During the administration of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, some top advisers became concerned with the large Bangladeshi migrant population, afraid they could become the second largest group in Karachi after Urdu-speaking Muhajir people and disturb sensitive demographics. Accordingly, Bhutto ordered a crackdown and deportation on Bangladeshi immigrants. Benazir Bhutto's action strained and created tensions in Bangladesh–Pakistan relations, with Khaleda Zia, who was in power in Dhaka during the time, refusing to accept the deportees and reportedly sending two planeloads back towards Pakistan and Muslim political parties in Pakistan criticising Bhutto and dubbing the crackdown as anti-Islamic. She was ultimately forced to abandon the order.[4][5]

These people were against the creation of Bangladesh and were pro-Pakistanis. So they left the country for their land Pakistan. So its not Bangladesh's responsibility to bring them back.

Actually truth is creation of Bangladesh let people move from one place to other on large scale . Many Bengalis left Bangladesh for West Bengal in 1947 till 1971 and afterwards. Many Biharis left India for Pakistan and stayed in East Pakistan. Biharis were allies of Pakistani army against Bangladeshi Mukti Bahini. So Bangladeshis view them as enemies who will never have Bangladeshi sentiments because its a country for Bengalis, not Biharis.

Will Pakistan accept them? You may say why will we accept Biharis? They left India's Bihar, so India should accept them. India will say why will we accept these traitors who left India for Pakistan? This fight will never end. So better give citizenship to Bengalis in Pakistan who have assimilated with Pakistan for long. Bangladesh's Biharis have difficulty assimilating with Bengali culture although they speak Bengali now. They should also be given Bangladeshi citizenship because they are living in Bangladesh for long time. Many even born here. They are Bangladeshi citizen by born.

Correct me if I’m wrong but SHW Govt did resolve all Pakistani refugee issues here. Everyone Born after 1971 automatically for citizenship and rest of the people were given citizenship several years back , a lot of elders in Mohammadpur Geneva Camp didn’t want to take citizenship as they wanted to go back to Pakistan still. But Pakistan High Commission said no.

Those people that stayed back,’integrate them into the society. They can contribute positively in the society .

Maybe Pakistan can follow similar strategy there and resolve this issue once and for all .

Bangladeshi living in Pakistan for long time should given Pakistani citizenship with equal right and the Bihari community also given full Bangladeshi citizenship its better for us not to scratch the old wound lets move ahead.

I dont understand why this nonsense thread keep reappearing. Any bihari in BD can accept BD citizenship. Majority have done so. Minority continue to want to go to Pakistan and holding out and living in refugee camps.

BD can not force them to accept citizenship. This is a non topic, in time all biharies will accept citizenship and get on with their lives.

Some of them came way after 1977 as well right up to 2001. Many were sent back in early 2000s.

Pakistan has an established database of its citizens. The citizenship law is based on 1951.
