Not really a big deal.

We need to take into account that BD GDP/capita is growing at 6% year compared to 3% for Pakistan.

Pakistan economic growth is dangerously low. Its domestic investment is meager. Latest census figure shows higher population growth rate which made things even worse.
May be Pakistan should go back to its fundamentals and emphasis on agriculture and get back on track instead of taking big ticket projects.

It is only at 3% gdp/capita growth now from the earlier 2% due to CPEC. IMF predicts that the
growth will accelerate to 4% over the next few years but no more.

Unless Pakistan focuses on law and order, education and prioritises areas like agriculture where it has
comparative advantage, it will never leave the 3rd world unlike BD and India.

Edit - CPEC by itself is not a bad thing but it needs to be seen as part of a larger package of reforms.

GDP by PPP is better indicators of living standards.

India --- 7.17 thousand
Pakistan --- 5.37 thousand
Bangladesh --- 4.21 thousand

Real GDP growth rates

India --- 7.2%
Bangladesh --- 6.9%
Pakistan --- 5%

Pakistan's GDP growth in the last one or two years was fueled by loans unlike BD's and India's, so we can expect the real growth rate to go back to 3 to 4 percent when payment cycle begins.

Bangladesh's GDP Per Capita (Nominal)

Pakistan's GDP Per Capita (Nominal)
