Then tell me why??
Or was it because they were of Central Asian origin? Specifically Afghan.Persian

Bengali is too big of a language in fact biggest native speaker in the sub continent if you take out the Hindi spoken as the secondary language.

Bengali speaking people 40% Jharkhand, 95% W. Bengal, 40% Assam, 65% Tripura, 98% Bangladesh, 40% Arakan. There are more in other parts of India including Bihar, Manipur, Meghalay, Mizoram ranging from 1-10%

Besides, Bengali have nothing to do with Urdu to start with.

Lo chala gaya. Maine to socha tha aaj bohot maaza aayega

You didn't answer my question- why did you people adopt Bengali culture which is Hindu culture. Why did Bangladeshi women wear Bindis which are Hindu religious symbols making them haram in Islam- where was your Islamiyat then? If you don't have any answer then stfu.

Haryanvis speak Hindustani. It is mutually intelligible with colloquial Urdu. Anyways I am not answerable to you which language I choose to use, its completely my choice. We don't oppose languages like Bangladeshis

Bengali culture is Hindu? According to whom? Our cuisine, customs are different to that of West Bengal. Dont confuse West Bengal for Bangladesh, although I don't know how you managed that. And the tikka that is placed on the forehead is not a sindhoor, nor is it a vermillion, it is a fashion statement.Just like the Gilgiti women put a tikka and other decorations on their forehead.

Ahhh, Colloquial Urdu, see that's what I wanted to hear!! So basically you're saying Haryanvi is the northernmost dialect of Hindi not Urdu. Because colloquial Urdu is not much different to Hindi. Why do you make yourself look so stupid?

So youre saying Sultans/Subehdars of Bengal had taken the demographics mentioned into consideration? We know Bengali has nothing to do with Urdu (although that is not entirely true).

Let's not fool ourselves, its very much a Hindu religious symbol- would you like any of your relatives wearing bindi, I guess not. It doesn't exactly represent Muslim culture. But who cares when even the chief prosecutor of Bangladesh ICT who is a Muslim wears bindi. So much for Islamiyat of Bangladeshis lol

Hindu being a majority faith of your country you're very ill informed about it. Vermillion, mangal sutra, or the red powder placed on the middle of hairline on women is a Hindu tradition signifying something - I don't know. A plastic bindi on a forehead is nothing but fashion statement. People choose what they want to do.

You know nothing about Islamiat.

I have never seen an Indian Muslim woman wear it. They always wear hijab or dupatta like they are supposed to. Why do Bangladeshi woman wear this bindi thing then? Even Haryanvi women don't wear it now. Hinduism permeates Bangladeshi culture, accept it and move on

You have to understand, all rulers had to inherit administration from the previous ruler even though they were invader. In Bengal there were nothing called Hindi or hindustani as prior to Mogul hindustani was spoken only in some small part of the Delhi in small communities which did not even have a script. Mogul took that language and modified it to interact with their subject. They even given it a arabic script called it Urdu. As Hinustani gained popularity, Hindus also promoted it as a parallel language called Hindi with Devangari Script. (But I am not sure when Devangari Script was actually introduced for Hindi)

On the other hand Bengali was pretty much competing with the Sanskrit as the court language in Bengal. Muslim rulers took that as an advantage to phase out Sanskrit. They had no clue about Hindi or Urdu. In the later stage when Mogul conquered Bengal they did not have to go after Bengali as that was actually redundant and their subedars who were of Persian descend readily started using their own language in the court and bengali to interact with the subject.

Bindyas is not a religious symbol for Hindus but Shindur is. No Muslim will ever use Shindur as that is a Hindu religious symbol. Muslim women wear churis or balas but will never wear shankas as shankas are hindu religious symbol.

Bindya is used for beautification for the women which is not illegal for women in Islam.

Bindi is a mark of a married woman in Hinduism. It is worn between the eyebrows or a little above the eyebrows on the forehead. It symbolises Hindu goddess Parvati and is believed to emanate energy according to Vedic beliefs. It is distinct from sindoor or vermillion. Bindi is a Hindu pagan symbol. Such pagan symbols are haram in Islam, so naturally its quite odd to see Bangladeshi Muslim woman wear it inspite of it being a pagan symbol and haram. When Bengali Muslim women freely accept such pagan symbols for the sake of "beautification" lol, surely aspersions will be cast on sincerity to religion. I can't help but ask why do Bangladeshis accept these Hindu pagan symbols when its clearly haram in your religion

I told you it is not used as Hindu religious symbol in Bengal rather is used as ornamental purpose. If it is wore for religious purpose in India then its India's problem I guess. In Bangladesh its a common thing and nothing to do with religion.

Khoob chestr khorsi ey cheler loge..You think Bangladeshi women don't wear Burka, Purda or our native meski (bengali variant of maxi dress) combined with islamic dress code ?? LOL. My Indian friend you have a lot to learn then, our capital city population is still yet to be as modern as Lahore where westernised clothing has been adapted. Take a stroll down my village or any other place, majority populace sport Panjabi/Kabuli & for females Purdah and Burka but I don't need to justify myself to an uninformed bhaiyya who probably has a name with the complete alphabet in reverse.

Heck even though we do not have an official ayn adalat saying women should not go to the bazar it's still shunned upon for mohila (females) to go the bazar as per local customs (females still do of course, tends to be poorer families).

Bindi is a Hindu pagan symbol and NOT ornamental. Who the heck made it ornamental lol. I mean frankly its quite weird and odd seeing Bangladeshi Muslim women wearing pagan symbols like bindis. I have never seen Hindu women wear hijab or niqab as fashion statement lol. Why this need to adopt Hindu culture in Muslim majority country? 10% of Malaysia's population is Tamil Hindus but Malaysian Muslim women never wear bindis. They wear hijab. Neither do Indonesian Muslim women feel the need to adopt bindi fashion of their Hindu counterparts in the country.

Bangladeshi culture is not very Islamic to say the least It's quite Hindu lol. Nothing surprising there considering your country is founded on Bengali nationalism. So much for separating from "Hindu India" :disagree: :disagree: :disagree:

Look dude, you have no idea about Bangladesh. We do things our way, you do things your way. Thats why you are Indian.

Our Hindu women do cover their head in a lot of occasions like muslim women. Does that make them a Muslim? Now chill and get some rest instead of pulling your hair.

English girls (festival go-ers) wear the Bindi, a pack of five or 10 with the adhesive behind them. Does that mean they are Hindu? Remember Hinduism started from North India (present day Pakistan & parts of N India), Hinduism in East Bengal is a recent phenomenom. You should be embarassed that you are ill informed on a local religion, something right outside your doorstep.

He's jealous that he is forced to call certain ethnic groups in his country as brothers (particularly the South Indians), although he is embarassed. Where as we are happy that we have different diasporas, Khasi, Garo, Manipuri, etc etc.
