jf17 looks nothing like a mig33

If I am not mistaken, the MIG-33 project was cancelled by the Soviets. It never left the drawing boards.
The FC-1 is apparently an evolution from the F-7. AKA "Super 7". With the help of some technical data taken from the MIG-33 project, the JF-17 was born.
It is original enough I'd say.
The aircraft has successfully undergone the manufacturer's flight
tests. Moscow Aircraft Production Organisation MAPO has produced the
initial batch of aircraft and is now preparing for mass
production. The Russian-built equipment can be replaced by or
added to western avionics if a customer wishes this. Containers
housing TV-aiming systems can also be fitted. The MiG-33 has good growth
potential to increase its combat efficiency.
Oh, so it was a prototype?
I seriously doubt as i have said before that China will not sell thunders to BD and Pakistan won't allow it as BD has close ties with India its raises serious concerns nor do i think China will sell BD J-10 B's as its not for export plus the only first nation to get them will be Pakistan as FC-20's just my two cents .
Bangladesh should not go for the JF-17 but aim for the Chinese J-10B. While the Jf-17 does have the advantage of being cheaper, even the block-2 JF-17 will cost only half of that of the new J-10B, it does not have the technology level to fight it out with either the Eurofighter or Rafale that India will procure soon. The other advantage is that it is much superior to the Mig-29 of the Burmese Air Force. Only issue is , whether the Chinese will risk giving their latest cutting edge tecnology to BD. There is no way that China would want either the US or Indians to get their hands on this fighter. There is a chance that the Chinese may supply provided BD accepts strict montioring of these fighters by Chinese surveillance systems and personnel in a secure air base in BD, much like what the US does with Pakistan F-16s. I would personally love to see 2-3 squadrons of the J-10B inducted as soon as possible.
With more use of composite, an AESA, a newer engine,IRST,SD-10B,Derter series missiles and H2-H6 Bvrs and JHMS i doubt it...... Heck even the blk-I would beat the mirage and ur mig-29.
Plus J-10B or its PAF version FC-20 wont be sold to any other country..... though J-10 would be available.
As usual people are jumping here without proof and claiming things just like they did in F-18 thread.
Ohh and I proved it in F-18 thread wth US Marines official website sources that it was a Joint excersice. No BD pilot was trained on F-18.
Pilots taking pictures in the planes or in front of the planes doesn't mean they are on training.
That fake news of training was further cemented when members posted Malay F-18 and claimed it as BAF pilots. This same propagands is repeated again in this thread.
Neither BD is buying JF-17/FC-1 at this moment nor BAF pilots ever got training on F-18 unless proven otherwise.
Now mods can suspend me for spoiling the party.

Come on garib, you still running the one year old thread. BD already decided to go low tech (FC-1 is the possibility) this time and will buy J-10 once it is available. We are now buying 2 squadron instead of one. We will stick to China only for our vital hardwares.
