Good improvement by PA just want ground troops need to take out enemy aircraft and helos.
The Thread Title "Baktar Shikan Missle" is an anti-armour missile so nothing to do with aircraft and helos!
However the missile OP have mixed it with is RBS-70 that is a MANPAD.
Nothing new, it's been in service for decades now...I'm referring to the rbs-70 not the baktar shikan, I know the difference.

There may be some who don't.
So i though it is better to point it out. The thread is already quite confusing with titles showing an anti-tank weapons system, pictures showing anti-aircraft system and discussion a mix of both without much of an indication what is what

True there is confusion on the first page, baktar shikan and rbs-70 mixed...
It's been used in AK hasn't it? I think they used it in Kargil.
Not AK, Maaz is a Talha APC platform with RBS-70. In kargil anza was used to bring down the migs.

The ones that were involved in shooting down of IA helicopter and two IAF Mig-21 fighter aircrafts were Anza Surface-to-air missile.
RBS-70 might have seen some action/use during the conflict but the kills are all attributed to Anza.
I guess AK was for Azad Kashmir here not Al-Khalid.
correction:
You people shot down an Mi 17 Heli and a MiG 21 from our side. Though an MiG 27 was also downed, our claims are that it was due to an engine flame out. You guys claim it to be shot down too.
Also, an IAF Canberra was also struck at the beginning of the war by your MANPAD but with the help of an escort MiG 29,it landed safely. After the Atlantique incident,an Mi 8 heli of our side was also struck by a MANPAD but landed safely.
