Armenian response to Azerbaijani T-300 Kasirga deal..

Azerbaijan should think over integrating new 300mm K+ Kasirga Smart angled launchers on bigger chassis to counter Armenian AR1A instead of Kamaz truck with 4 launchers.

This is a wasteful concept adding more launcher just to increase hitting rate...instead we should make Kasirga rockets more accurate. We know Roketsan made guided warhead for latest Kasirga variant(which sold to Azerbaijan already) but we don't know what was the guidance type or how accurate they became.

Thats pretty pathethic. While Armenia is going with Chinese smerch knoff-offs, Azerbadijan already posses actual smerchs, not to mension countless other MLRs.

The photo of Kasirga doesn't look like it's in Azerbaijan.

No, but the T-122/300 you see in the photo is intended for Azerbaijan (Kamaz chassis).

If you pay attention, these are identical.

This is what Azerbaijan is getting: http://www.roketsan.com.tr/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/TEK-Batarya-122_300-ingilizce.pdf

http://www.roketsan.com.tr/en/urunl...ksatli-ve-cok-namlulu-roketatar-cnra-sistemi/

Incidentally, the development T-122/300 began towards the end of 2010, when Azerbaijan signed a contract with Roketsan, worth around $250 million.

Basically this is a modular MRL, you can install either 122mm or 300mm packages.

"A typical T-122/300 battery would be made up of one C-122/300 command-and-control (C2) vehicle, six T-122/300 launcher vehicles, six L-122/300 ammunition supply vehicles, one M-122/300 meteorological vehicle, and one R-122/300 repair vehicle. The C2 system and weapon management system of the battery can be integrated with modern fire-support automation and battlefield command, control and management systems. This will allow the use of information from a target acquisition radar or an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)."

Hey Guys is it true TSK is not going use new versions of K300 kasırga and does TSK has rockets comparable to Russian SCUD Rocket

And will Turkey use it's own JOBARIA system

.
Very Interesting , made in Turkey but not in use of Turkey.

I don't think we need a replacement for our current MRL-systems yet.

Hey Guys is it true TSK is not going use new versions of K300 kasırga

There has not been any public announcement about that TSK|TAF is going to acquire it, but who knows

does TSK has rockets comparable to Russian SCUD Rocket

The J-600T Yıldırım is about two thirds of the SCUD-C, but there is still quite a difference between them. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we would see something larger being revealed in the near future.

And will Turkey use it's own JOBARIA system

See my reply to madmusti's post.

The supplies on Azerbaijan’s orders will be completed by the end of the year

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. The Turkish ROKETSAN company will complete the deliveries on Azerbaijan’s orders by the end of the year, ROKETSAN told APA.

The significant batches of T-122 Sakarya multiple launch rocket systems and missiles offered by Azerbaijan have already been delivered. T-300 “Hurricane” missiles (named as Kasırga) are under production and testing and have been modernized compared to relevant systems in the arsenal of the Turkish Armed Forces.

The universal launch rocket system produced by ROKETSAN for Azerbaijan allows firing rockets with 122 and 300 mm caliber.

T-122 Sakarya multiple launch rocket systems purchased by Azerbaijan from Turkey were demonstrated in Baku military parade in June, this year. These systems with long-range missiles are capable of destroying enemy targets at a distance of 40 km.
