comeon hawk if u wud have seen media news on bbc abc and cnn before fight den u wud have known that for media it was fight between a jew and muslim even they shown salita doing jewish prayer before fight and that he didnt ate meat or dun know sumthin else for one day before fight because of religious belief so everyone here is talkin in dat sense there is only one message for ppls like u that dun just pppls to quickly just watch the videos over youtube and judge ur self regarding this fight

Why bring religion in everything? That was a game. Both are sportsmen, thats enough. You can talk about Israeli technology and economics, in which they are way ahead. They proved themselves in wars as well.

The 27-year-old Salita was unbeaten in 31 encounters going into the fight.


Amir Khan needed just 76 seconds to defeat Dmitriy Salita in the first defence of his WBA light-welterweight title in Newcastle.

'One would think that Amir Khan and Dimitry Salita would’ve played up the religious angle to draw tickets sales for their December 5th WBA junior welterweight showdown at the Newcastle Metro Arena.

Although I do not care for the religious debate here, it was a good clean fight and Amir won it by destroying the challenger, but the religious and political overtone was on Dmitry's side with the Israeli flag (even though he is from Brooklyn, US) and the fact that he was wearing the star of David (pbuh) on his back.

Leaving all that aside, Amir Khan has a lot of awesome potential. I hope he has the right kind of support team around him to guide him so he can flourish in his career even more.

I have seen such things. When people win they start talking, "ohhhh a Muslim won against a Jew" but when they looses nothing happened! But they forget that this is game and sometimes one looses and sometimes one wins. Giving religious color to everything is not desirable.
