What i understand, it is all not about designing something. This is easy part, because Turks also have full Access to all Kind of Engineering.

The real matter is COPYRIGHTS. Intelectual property rights! patent rights.

Turkey wants to Export the stuff she is making. Legaly. And you can´t Export parts which are claimed as patent by somebody else. The big western companies which have spend millions into R&D.

Because of that BMC (Which has a new muslim Owner, Ethem Sancak) buying Intelectual property rights from israeli hatehof Company. Because Hatehof has the right knowhow and patent knowledge to avoid any patent issues in the future. Qatar Military is investing in BMC for future Production.

Do you even know what a seculair state is? This has nothing to do with state religion. Examples of Muslim countries are theocracies such as Saudi-Arabia and Iran, where Islam is part of the political system, judiciary system and its constitution. This is not the case in Turkey, thus Turkey is a seculair state unbound by Islamic laws and beliefs.

Dude, Like or Not, Turkey is officially a Secular, Social and Law Republic. If you have some problem with any of them, Keep them for your life style and act in accordance with. AÇIKLAMA:
2012 yılından itibaren ihale çalışmalarını sürdürdüğümüz Altay Tankı Güç Grubu Geliştirilmesi Projesi ihalesinde, 6 Ağustos 2014 tarihli Savunma Sanayii İcra Komitesinde alınan karar doğrultusunda, Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarlığı ile başlanan sözleşme görüşmeleri tamamlanmış ve Güç Grubu Geliştirilmesi Projesi için şirketimiz ve Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarlığı arasında 17 Mart 2015 tarihinde sözleşme imzalanmıştır. Sözleşmenin bedeli 190 Milyon avro'dur.Toplam 54 ay sürmesi planlanan proje kapsamında, yurt içi mevcut imkan ve kabiliyetlerden azami derecede faydalanılması ve ihtiyaç duyulması halinde yurt dışından teknik destek alınması suretiyle, öncelikli olarak ALTAY Tankında kullanılması planlanan güç grubunun tüm haklarının Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarlığı'na ait olacak şekilde özgün olarak tasarlanması, geliştirilmesi, prototip üretimi, test ve kalifikasyonu hedeflenmektedir.
