What's new

Akinci & Aksungur and Turkish Unmanned Fighter Aircraft Program

That's true, but then Anatolian Agency corrected their numbers into 2x550hp, so 1100 hp at total.

Also if wings strong enough, with half fuel Akıncı may be able to carry 2 SOM missiles, one for each wings. It would eat endurance but it's up to commanders' mission planning at the end.
A unmanned platform that can carry 2 Stand Off missiles is impressive on its own. A lot of good concepts can be made with the participation of such UAVs

Akinci UAV would be great for the navy , can't wait to see navy version loaded with ATMACA Anti ship missile and air launched Torpedo

Nobody knows... But, as ISmail Demir said that they will probably develop the local one after the project mature, means its imported..
I am searching for 550hp turboprop engine and I came to PT6A.

I think the size of ANKA and TB2 are just right, but I guess you need bigger UAV if you want to have more payload and such. Nice to see a cirit pod on an ANKA.
