A ‘Muslim Union’ is the need of the hour

And nope...if you could go on you wouldnt stop...

Oh come on, resource based economies do not fail. The average person will become poorer, country will become more crowded. But the average Muslim on this planet will be better off than he/she is now. So why not implement this free travel and work for the sake of Muslims?
because we do not live in an ideal country...Like Buddhist countries are also not really giving each other a hug...cant talk much about Christian ones coz many of the populations of EU are Christians by name

because we do not live in an ideal country...Like Buddhist countries are also not really giving each other a hug...cant talk much about Christian ones coz many of the populations of EU are Christians by name

That was the very crux of the debate. Is the idea of Islam stronger than the nation or money? Clearly not.

We are strictly talking about Muslims here, so please let us not compare it with other religions.

Rich of Pakistan are poorer than the rich of KSA. Poor of Pakistan are poorer than the poor of KSA. Middle Class of Pakistan is poorer than the Middle Class of KSA. Average Pakistani is poorer than average KSA citizen. Pakistani statesmen are poorer than the statesmen of KSA.

Well, I could keep going but sorry, you bored me....

And the initiative has to be taken by the rich states of course, because no one wants to migrate to the already crowded poor countries like Bangladesh and Indonesia.

Do not see a country based on the wealth.....but the important of that country.....and do not value anyone based on wealth either...but based on their heart, knowledge, faith, and contribution to Islam and humanity.

Who said Indonesia is a poor country....we are the most powerful in term of GDP in a moslem world....and we have been considered as the middle income country since 1990's. In 2020 we insyaALLAH will get 2 Trillion US Dollar for our GDP.....OECD has recently projected our country will have 6 % growth for years to come.....so my projection is based on the rational.

The powerful Nation is based on the overall economy of that country and its military power.....not by GDP per capita...if so Singapore will lead ASEAN...where the actual reality is that Indonesia is a leader of ASEAN.

Well, I think our want for unity based on religion is much more profound then that for regional matter...
Only Mullahs and Ayatullahs say misleading stuff like this.

Unfortunately, present day reality doesn't exist in Mullah's darkened hojra.

....I think an ISLAMIC union is much more dream-able than a regional one with India!

Two extremes.

Justifying Islamist extremist $tupidty by using Pak-India extremist $tupidity

Well, I think our want for unity based on religion is much more profound then that for regional matter...esp with the non stop fighting between India and Pakistan over everything and nothing (i.e. PDF members are a huge example how every thread becomes a measuring competition)....I think an ISLAMIC union is much more dream-able than a regional one with India!

I would suggest instead of a bigger union first seek a union with Afghanistan, then include Bangladesh, then include Iran or Indonesia in it. As I see these three are the closest to Pakistan regionally.

Have visa free travel and work permit and common currency with Afghanistan and Bangladesh for a beginning, and maybe have Iran also in it.

As I see even this would be a formidable challenge, and I don't see it working out realistically. But if this is successful then it makes some practical sense to talk of bigger union.

A zillion dollar question is that who will lead this union ?

Not just Pakistanis, every lazy group thinks they can suck at the teets of Arab for free, if they will be part of this group of lazy @rsed druggies.

It is socialist/commie idea and just like commies went bankrupt, Islamism too is really a bankrupt idiot-ology oops idology.

This $upid unionism doesn't eliminate troubles

It is the source of troubles.

Thanks to this Islamism, we got Bin Fing Laden and Aiman fing Zawahiri.

Thanks to this Islamism, we kicked out our moderate voices, our intellectual and sane voices.

and replaced them with hard @rsed lazy 2-bit Mullahs and Ayatullahs.

A union must be btw equals
The way I see it

Gulfies are Filithy rich with low tech know how
Turks,Indonesia & Malaysia are medium rich with good tech know how
Pakistan,Algeria & Egypt are Military powers with low wealth & Low-Mid Tech

No one is allrounder
Maybe Turkey

Well if the OIC is taken as a starting point then one can see that such a union would never work. There are too many internal divisions (be they in the shape of national, ethnic, linguistic and/or sectarian divisions) between Muslim countries for them to be able to form any kind of a viable union. Heck the Arabs with their religious, ethnic and linguistic similarities tried to form united states on several occasions and failed (Arab Federation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, Federation of Arab Republics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, United Arab Republic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). If countries with so many similarities in the Muslim world can not form real unions then how can you expect Afghanistan or Malaysia to form a real union with Morocco or Algeria? Sure we should seek to improve ties with Muslim nations as a common religion can boost ties between nations, but ultimately where a nations own interest clashes with another Muslim states, then that common religion is forgotten. Best to focus on your own state then.

Features of the global wealth distribution :

The revised synthetic sample still contains 1.31 million observations, each representing between
100 and 10,000 adults, which may be processed to generate improved estimates of the wealth
pattern within countries, regions and the world. The wealth pyramid (Figure 3-1) vividly captures the essential features of the global wealth distribution divided into four segments: under USD 10,000; between USD 10,000 and USD 100,000; between USD 100,000 and USD 1 million; and over USD 1 million.

1185071_10152160471506159_1768582156_n.jpg

Combining the samples for all countries allows the overall features of the global distribution of
wealth to be identified, including, for instance, the minimum wealth of each percentile (i.e. 1%
group) and the share of total wealth owned by this group. To be among the wealthiest half of
the world, an adult needs only USD 4,000 in assets, once debts have been subtracted.
However, a person needs at least USD 75,000 to belong to the top 10% of global wealth
holders and USD 753,000 to be a member of the top 1%.

The bottom half of the global population together possess less than 1% of global wealth.
In sharp contrast, the richest 10% own 86% of the world’s wealth, with the top 1% alone accounting for 46% of global assets.
At the top, 32 million people control $98.7 trillion – that’s 41 percent of the world’s wealth in the hands of 0.7% of the total adult population.

So Fauji Bhai , The general poverty is the curse of "capitalism" ...
To end extreme poverty worldwide in 20 years, Sachs calculated that the total cost per year would be about $175 billion.
If only the 0.7 % of the world population (The richest one) were to pay Zakat as per Islamic law , It would be 2.47 trillion dollars annually , 15 times more than what is required to eliminate worldwide poverty .

That is "Islamic Socialism" in which rich remains rich , but the poor get their share ... Hope you understand now ... And it is not "Idiot-ology" .. You must be a bit more careful with ur selection of words if you have no idea what you are talking about ....

You think all Pakistanis are poor and all ME are filthy rich? HUGE generalization there!

Yes , A erroneous generalization ! People usually talk of Saudis as some "Oil rich" nation , but what they are not able to understand is :

53.3 % of Saudi Adults have net wealth worth less than 10,000 USD ..
Another 41.1 % have net wealth b/w 10,000 - 100,000 USD
5.3 % of Saudis have net wealth b/w 100,000-1 million USD
0.3 % of saudis have net wealth worth over USD 1 Million !!

Saudis are one of the leading examples of uneven distribution of wealth ...

90.8 % Pakistani adults have net wealth worth less than USD 10,000
9.0 % Pakistanis have net wealth b/w 10,000 & 100,000 USD

75 % of Iranian adults have net wealth worth of less than USD 10,000
24.4% Iranian adults have net wealth worth b/w 10,000 & 100,000 USD

67% of Turkish adults have net wealth worth less than USD 10,000
30.3 % of Turkey adults have net wealth worth b/w USD 10,000 & 100,000

81.1% of Indonesian adults have net wealth less than USD 10,000
17.6% of Indonesian adults have net wealth worth b/w USD 10,000 and 100,000
1.3 % of Indonesian adults have net wealth of b/w 100,000-1 million USD

Over all Muslims , irrespective of their country , are generally poor ...

In the countries making up EU , the percentage of population with net worth less than 10,000 USD
is less than 20 % generally for developed countries , But they have not rejected Romania (where over 69 % of population has net wealth worth < 10,000 USD) , Latvia , Lithuania or Hungary labelling them as "poor"

In the developed countries , the distribution of wealth is comparatively less unequal , for example

Only 9.2% of Japanese adults have net wealth worth less than USD 10,000
37.7% of Japanese adults have net wealth worth b/w 10,000 & 100,000 USD
50.6 % of Japanese have net wealth b/w 100,000-1 million USD
2.5 % Japanese have over 1 million USD

30.7 % of US adults have net wealth worth less than 10,000 USD
33.0 % have net wealth b/w 10,000 & 100,000 USD
30.7 % of US adults have net wealth worth b/w 10,000- 1 million USD
5.5 % of Americans have net wealth of over 1 million USD

58.4 % of Chinese adults have net wealth worth less than 10,000 USD
39.1 % of Chinese have net wealth worth b/w 10,000 and 100,000 USD
2.4 % of Chinese have net wealth worth b/w 100,000 & 1 Million USD
0.1 % of chinese have net wealth of over 1 million USD ...

Unfortunately , Conditions in South Asia are even worse than Africa :

In Africa , 91 % of total population has a net wealth worth less than 10,000 USD, whereas

94.4% of Indians have a net wealth worth less than 10,000 USD

97.9 % of Bangladeshis have a net wealth of less than 10,000 USD

Unlike most of our thinking, SOME parts of Africa have improved significantly over the last 10-20 yrs!! I mean with all the R & D , schooling projects, medical funds and vaccine production...well, It is no surprise why South Asians are worse than Africa!

Very well said.

Bravo.

After 60 forking years, Islamo fascism has only brought death and destruction to Pakistan.

Why?

We cannot even unite our own country, let alone forming some forking union with Ayatullahs Khabeesy, or that caveman Mullah umer of Islamist Emirate.

We don't know that such a khabees union will fork up our minorities, and utterly destroy our civil society.

I mean these nutz do not ralize, how our young girls will be forced out to live in stone age.

But no. Ignore all that.

So many Pakistanis who cannot even keep their own nose clean, their own house in order

jump up and down crazy

about forking some distant Islamist land (historically and geographically speaking).
