@levina - Shimla agreement says to NJ9842 and hence north. Did you notice we're north and west of it too?

The problem with Pakistan is that they assume India will only hit back in "disputed" territories every time Pakistan tries a misadventure into Kashmir. That is a very dangerous and wrong assumption because in 1965, India demonstrated clearly that India will hit back at a place of its choosing should Pakistan try invading Kashmir, which by constitution is an integral part of India.

The new government again highlighted its willingness to escalate and expand the theater when they shelled across the "settled" border in response to Pakistan's continued shelling across LOC - which actually got the Pakistani defense analysts worked up.

The words are "thence north to glacier' not NJ9842. So I guess we have claimed what belonged to us. Isnt it? :)

Hence, Brigadier Javed Hussain is pronounced a 'traitor ' in absentia.
There are many like him

“Since the 1965 adventure, Pakistan’s generals have maintained a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in public relations about military matters.” According to this virtual SOP, “The Pakistani military wins every war it fights and Pakistan’s generals make no mistakes. Any blame for failure lies either with civilians or the Americans”.

Yes India will only hit back in disputed territories, or in Sialkot sector near IB, but will not dare to cross over, due to nuclear threat. Kargil is a successful example for you, that limited war with no nuclear strike and you will try your best not to extend the theatre. This is for sure :)

You can even consider yourself Tom Cruise, but that doesnt make you Ethan Hunt.

I dont consider such things.
