Wagner Group is making insane money right now. They are signing a lot of contracts in Africa right now. At the end of the day, Pakistan has every right to do what is in its interest and a private military will bring a lot of dollars to Pakistan if we play our cards right. there would be no difference between our actual military intervening and a "private" military intervening though, apart from maybe labels and sentiments.

if its going to be truly private, will you allow it complete freedom, to even operate against your allies? if not, then that means it has government control, if it goes into certain countries it means the government has allowed it to, so its essentially a wing of the government.

Partnering with Academi(Blackwater) is definitely possible. Academi should be able to benefit by working with our PMC.
